We have stayed in Turkey Hollow before on a very busy weekend during the Bridge festival and loved it. I don't know why they call it a high traffic area. Probably because the traffic for Sugar ridge has to go through there. We liked it and I was just about to recommend it (except for 196) .
38-65 are OK but they are all out in the open with no shade. On the plus side though they are very close to the trail to the inn. The dump there is not the main one, so it should not be a problem. I've never seen anyone use it.

Either area is fine. Turkey Run fans, what is yor opinion?

As long as it's not a high traffic area, I'd prefer Turkey Hollow. Especially since you've been there before.

The block from 184 to 200 is all open that weekend and is shown to be very shady in the overhead image.

Turkey Run

This is right down the road from me and would love to go. I am in the middle of redoing my globetrotter and this would be great for a first outing since it is close to home. Let me know what weekend and I will make my reservations.

That's where we stayed last time and were very pleased. Turkey hollow it is! The 184 end is close to the dumpsters so I would go for the other end first. I'm sending ours in as soon as Roger puts in his vacation request. He is supposed to do it today.

Turkey Run

I just made my reservations, (this gives me a deadline to finish my trailer) See everybody there. If anybody needs anything just let me know, Turkey Run is only a few miles away for me.

Is this an official forum Rally? If so I would take it upon myself to volunteer to do some sort of souvenir for everyone who attends.

It's official now since I finally figured out how to put it on the calendar! That would be great. What did you have in mind? Other rallies we have been to, people have made name tags and magnets.

I was thinking a magnet and a plastic cup. If you have any other ideas I am open to suggestions. I have the ability to do just about anything.

We are confirmed for 195. Souvenier ideas sound great. One can never have too many cups. We are bringing some atendance prizes also.

Late September gathering at Turkey Run SP , Marshall,IN

I am confirmed in site 184. After my interpretation of "Rip VanWinkle" at the Moraine View Rally, I don't think that being close to the dumpsters will bother me at all! Other than a few quirks with Windows Vista and the on-line reservation system, the entire process went smoothly.
