Looks like my family is out at the last minute. My wife and I have come down with some sort of summer cold. I've been so pumped up for this event all year.

It is just pouring rain here in Beavercreek, and all I have left to do is get dressed and hitch up. Our girls are padding around the house, very excited...
Any rate, we will be on the road within 90 minutes, and should be there by 4:00...
We are going I-70 to I-74. 270 miles...

Well, at least it's not raining now....we may get some showers today, but the forecast doesn't look too bad! I think it'll actually get better, later in the day.
I think I may swing by to see who's at the park noonish or so, with my son.... then if I do get to stay the night, I'll be back later for that!
If anyone is on the road or at the park and they realize they need / forgot something important, let me know - I'm only 40 min from the park, and there's a Lowe's and a Farm and Fleet (etc, etc) right down the road from here.

Well after 6 months of planning and talking this is it. The clouds have parted the sun is shining and in just over 2 hours we will be on our way. We will link up with Panub and her hubby over at the first rest stop in Illinois.
