maxandgeorgia, lots of help available for backing....lets just not get into a "Long Long Trailer" back in !

Eric just called me this weekend about the price increase. Thanks for posting Eric. I've been tied up at work so I haven't had time to check the thread traffic.

Let me know what site you get. I'll post it on the official list. You are #22!

I just had a stroke of brilliance....

Let us all join in together Friday night at Moraine View, have a wonderful evening, and in protest, all (soon to be, what?) 25 of us roll our rigs out at 'check out' time, In protest of the extra $9.00 per night, and go form a wagon circle at the Walmart parking lot. What a hoot!!!!

OK, not realistic, but would be funny!!!!

Glad to hear your with us Max and Georgia!!! I'll bring a bright yellow rain slicker, and some of those orange light-up batons you see at airports....We;ll get ya backed in one way or the other....LOL.

I just checked out the Illinois State Parks site and the cost increase to our sites is actually $4 per night.

"• Class A - $15 per night. Includes electricity hook up, showers and vehicle access. The previous fee was $11 per night."

So bottom line your initial deposit and first night's fee that you have already paid, stands. Your cost for Saturday night will be $15.

Those of you who haven't reserved yet will need to send in $20, $15 + $5 non refundable reservation fee.

Proud to be a part of this growing group. Can you imagine how big the group will be next year???

I think we should have Togas made, Like the Tshirts that they are printing for the CO rally. At this rate, By next year we could have our own brand of chocolate milk brewed and bottled!!!

Can't wait....my polish should be here today, so, maybe I'll have the door polished by the trip....LOL

Quite honestly this is a low budget affair. Cost to come is the price of the of the campground so anything else will be coming out of somebody's pocket.

I'm Soooooo disappointed! I thought that the "rally fee" for this event was going to get us some big name entertainment... you know... the Doobies, Axl Rose, Paul McCartney, the Stones... maybe Janet Jackson?

I guess it'll be either some of the members a pickin' and a grinnin' or CDs, eh?

Well remember we are planning to have some movies, weather permitting. #1 being Animal House and for the tamer crowd, an Airstream video.

I try not to mix business and pleasure - and I'm definitely not trying to push sales at a fun outing with friends. But I just happen to be a screenprinter. If the group is interested in getting commemorative togas (or t-shirts- if you prefer) for the rally, it's as good as done. I could have a little fun with the design (yah! ah! ah!) Just let me know.
