Is there room for another rally? Door County Wi.

Good day Rivetiers
Liz recently purchased Countryside Motel and RV sites. 16 Rooms 16 RV sites. We now have very limited time to get out and explore in our 76 Argosy 28 motorhome. So we thought,,,, maybe bring the Airstreams to us. We have 16 sites with water/30 amp. Boondocking available as well. Is there any interest in a Door County Wisconsin Rally? Fall would be ideal. Please give us your suggestions.
PS If you are going to the Nationals, stop by and say HI, stop by and have a nite on us. . Stop by and spend a few days exploring Door County.

Was just planning a road trip to Arkansas, looking for a possible rally along the way, and spotted this post. Kind of funny-I have a cottage not far away from you at the end of HWY CC.

Your motel/RV park would be a handy spot for a rally! Lots to explore in the area, convenient to Stevenson's Pier for gas and basic groceries, a few goofy bar/restaurants down the road, and plenty of scenery all around.

I'd encourage you to put out more information for those potentially interested, e.g., more location specifics, activities, cost, etc. I'm sure people would enjoy the area. I have all my life!

When we owned the RV park in Angel Fire, we used it to offer 50% discounts to WBCCI members. Same thinking as yours: If we couldn't go to rallies, then bring the members to us. It worked. We had a LOT of friends come to the park!

Alas, the new owners stopped doing the big discount. We were disappointed, but, of course, we were in no position to require that they do the discount.

An Airstream Park sounds like a nice dream! And your proposed deals sound rather inviting, although you wouldn't want to turn off other trailer brand owners by sounding partial to Airstreams - unless perhaps your deal was solely for an Airstream Rally.

We're closing up the cottage this weekend but will try to remember to stop by to say hello.
