Interest for a South Eastern Rallie?

We are on the outerbanks in NC. It would be nice to meet some airstreamers from our area! I think I'm willing to coordinate We would be going for something basic. Let me know!

The Washington DC Unit of WBCCI are holding an Outer Banks Rally there at Rodanthe at the Camp Hatteras Campground from 15-22 August. Not too sure how many will come but I know of a 1959 with double bunks coming from Plattsburgh, NY, and we are coming in our 1985 Limited, with 2 kids, as the wife and kids are coming down from NY too. YEAH!!!!

The kids (2) start school that week but we can at least come for a few days as we are ony about an hour from rodanthe. Ill check out the WDCU site. THANKS!

We'll be there. Leaving from up here on Friday early AM. We're stopping for a few days near Assateague and should arrive down there on Monday PM.

Seems that a Forum Rally would be good too.

I am certain that many from the SCCU and ENCU woudl attend if there were a Forum rally organized.
These folks will go rally at the drop of a hat!

I would love to go to Cape Hatteras seeing that the North Carolina State Rally (KOA CG Cape Hatteras),was cancelled last year due to Hurricane Isabel, (Did I mention Hurricanes?)

Maybe a location inland like nearer the foothills or mountains of the Smokies is a more reliable plan.

Anyhow, we are going to the SC State Rally in Longs SC. At this time it is sold out but I am hearing of maybe allowing double parking. The sites are 80 feet long and fully paved, Lots of room. While camping there earlier this year, I actually saw two 35 foot fifth wheels parked end to end, both with full power.

If you dont get your share of Airstreaming or Rallies with the DC unit, get in touch with the Eastern North Carolina Unit or the South Carolina Coastal Unit or even the Piedmont NC Unit ofthe WBCCI. You will be glad that you did.

As a matter of fact, about a dozen Airstreamers are getting together in Myrtle Beach for Labor Day weekend. I told you we would camp/rally at the drop of a hat
