With the COOL weather, we will need a "wood kitty" for 3 days/ nights, or look for a supplier in the area.
Has anyone heard from Jack and Patty; Jerry and Pam or any of the June group?

I had see where you were bringing some. I know what we burn at Northern Illinois, and that is about 1/2 cord (face cord) so we all would chip in. Maggie, you are local, so with the transport of wood rule, that is why my suggestion. Thanks for your contribution.

Hi Guys! Back in the lower 48 (finally) and was really looking forward to the fall paddle rally. Alas life (and death) crept in while I was gone and we have a memorial to attend for a close friend of Jo Ann's who passed recently. We'll be thinking of you all and hope you have clear skies and calm water for the weekend...

I thought some one at gate had relative ? I found on net a Facebook page of : JD Firewood, Bloomington. Deliver/Stack Face Cord $120. 1-309-242-9721 ask for John. There are probably more in area. Take Donations/Collection. Might be warmer weather by then. Get by with what people bring. We will bring wood also.

The one at gate was at Lowden.? We paid $60 for pick up load for. I have a couple of bags also. We can also check at MV for local dealers.
getting anxious.

We haven't had a lack of firewood yet, but we'll have to see what the weather forecast says. If it's rainy we may have a lot of wood with no place to burn it.

Third Sunday Market -- Bloomington
Sunday Oct 18 is Third Sunday Market in Bloomington. Generally has 450 vendors set up inside and outdoors. They say the vendors represent 17 states.

It coincided with a June Moraine View Rally at least once a few years ago when the rally was held the third weekend in June instead of the second.
