Well guys the summer is here. I'm sure everyone is working on their projects and hopefully some camping. We have been getting our '59 Caravanner restoration going again and hope to be in it for the Hunting Is. Rally in Sept. I've heard through the grapevine that there will be a few cool camper haulers there as well as a great group of campers. (old and new). Let us know what you all are working on.

After a few of them, love is the only thought on my mind.

Are future FT wanna be Airstreamers allowed to visit the Rally? Hub and I live in the Lowcountry and are working on our home to sell it so that we can semi-retire in a yet to be purchased Airstream. We are seriously looking at new Classic 31s to be our next home and plan to full-time in it.

Yes, of course, you are welcomed to go to any rally anywhere any time. Many great rallies all over the country. This one will be good as many others are. Also, the South Carolina Coastal Unit 150 has a local unit of WBCCI which I am part of. Just do a search for WBCCI. It lists all the units throughout the country and web sites.

Hope you do get an Airstream. You will have an immediate family where ever you go. Lots of help on this forum. Enjoy.

I am beginning to wonder if we will be on a floating hiatus with all this rain.

In planning for the trip, I am just realizing how close this place is to Parris Island. If anyone (with appropriate ID) wants to make a day trip over, please let me know.

I'm not very nostalgic for commissaries, but they do sell refreshments. Brad will need to restock, maybe even replace, his cooler. Coolers make excellent on-demand fishing vessels.

Hey All,

Just found this thread and we will be at Hunting for a week of vacation at the same time, 9/2 - 9/7. Count us in! (Wiltstream - Shane, Kristen, and Ben)
We will be in spot 106.

Looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing so many Airstreams all in one spot! Btw, we love the sticker design - do we need to send money for t-shirts, etc.?

Shane
