We want to invite everyone to join us to celebrate our honeymoon October 28th-Nov 1, 2010 at Findley State Park in Wellington Ohio.

This is the same weekend as the Venison Chilli Cookoff at the park too!

Just for our group of people are are contemplating having a "pumpkin carving contest" Pumpkins will be provided or bring your own! We have some great prizes to be offered for this!

Worried about missing trick or treat back home? Bring the kids and have them trick or treat around the trailers.

Let me know how many kids you are bringing and we will be sure to have goodies for them! A prize for the best kids/adults/pets costume as well!

So come join us for a fun weekend full of great food, good company, and of course a smokin' hot campfire!

Congratulations to you and Mike Loren! Not sure if we can make the rally because of our work schedules but you certainly have picked a wonderful time of the year for a honeymoon rally. The weather should be gorgeous! It's our favorite time to get into the woods and have a campfire. Chili, pumpkins and trick and treating (be prepared

) sounds like a great mix. Don't forget to post some Airstream "honey" pictures, you can skip the mooning ones.

We'll raise a glass in toast to your honeymoon while we celebrate our 47th anniversary that same weekend at Bennett Springs State Park in Missouri. Somehow camping with our Airstreams and celebrating wonderful events in our lives go hand in hand, don't they. Have fun! We'll be doing last catch and keep trout fishing of the summer...~G

We are hoping that the Ohio fall weather will cooperate with us! Rehearsal dinner "picnic style" in the backyard. Loren and Mike are getting married on the 23rd in a little church that is practically right next door. We will have our "silver" family there to help us get them down the aisle in style. A few of them will be driveway camping with us. Let us know if you can join in the fun because the following weekend we will gather for the honeymoon campout at Findley SP. Loren and Mike are just getting started at camping in the Argosy 6.7 m. Minuet. They will be seasoned campers before we know it! Should be fun! Hope some of you will join in the fun.

The rehearsal dinner went great on Fri. We had a nice evening, but it was a little chilly out. Larry warmed us up with a nice campfire. Loren's silver family all made it to town safe and sound. We took the whole clan to rehearsal at the church. Then off to decorate some last minute things at the hall. Larry's fire felt really nice when we got home. Of course the "kids" went home early to play their video games etc. The "olders" sat by the fire and had more fun!
The wedding came off without a hitch on Sat. !! LOL!!! Beautiful weather in the afternoon. No raindrops fell on the photography session and the reception was great!
Coming up will be the Honeymoon rally this next weekend. Should be fun!

The rehearsal picnic in the backyard went well. We got the tent up and down ok. Now it will await the next big event.
They had a very fun wedding. You would have giggled with the rest of us at the church when he whipped a small black folding stepstool out from behind the dais and opened it up to stand on to kiss the bride. It was classic!

My knee held up well this past couple of weeks. It is getting better by the week. Still aches at the end of the day. I think it will be a while before it is mended. We will see.

Picture preview will be available to be viewed this weekend!!! But only if you attend. lol! Our photographer is coming for the potluck on saturday!!! Looking forward to a fantastic day. We are providing beef brisket, cheesy potatoes, and CUPCAKES! Oh yeah, and wedding cake too. LOL!

From the pictures on Facebook, it looks like you two had a wonderful Airstream wedding and soon to follow Honeymoon Rally. I love the picture of the signs Lou made, may I post it? That is so unique and adorable!!

Thanks Carol! We have a lot of cool shots from that day, this one and the one with Mikey's turn signal as well as the step stool are my favs!
