Wow! Such a crowd. Sure wish we could be with ya'll; sorry to be missing so many Airstreams in one place. When we camp I always look for other Airstreams (guess we all do) and usually don't see any others. Hopefully, we can make the Spring Fling in '07.

It will be great to have LeeMo and crew back. Haven't seen them at the last 2 rallies.

If this is open to desert rats we'll be there too----Just called and have site # 69 reserved. Think we'll make a loop back home{cincinnati Ohio} drop down and catch the Region 6 "Hillbilly Hoedown Rally" on the way to this outing. Have been Airstreamers since 03, joined WBCCI last year but never attended any events. Really looking forward to this and meeting you folks.

Does that include the trailer or just total travel to the rally??? I'll be flying home from Japan the day before I leave to come up there then hooking up the pre-packed Caravel and driving up. Counting the rest-overnight my total trip will be a long one. I have a feeling this won't count but had to ask.

I just noticed my name was on this list? Never said anything about this one? Think there is a mistake would love to make it but with school and the distance it's not going to happen. By the way how did my name get on the list?

If we get 20 it will be a terrific group. Our biggest to date in this area. Amazing as the WBCCI gets well over a hundred for their rather dull ( sorry ) rally at TOG, just down the road. Maybe we are too laid back?

Georgia leaf

I was unable to pull up the website from the link. Where is the campground. We are in Greensboro, N.C. We have just bought our first AS and are having some refurbishing done. We hope to have it ready in a month to take her out. We want to join some experienced Airstreamers initially to increase our "learning curve".

Try it now, this is what I used.

Welcome to the rally - post your campsite number when you do sign up. I will be updating the map soon.

I'll be in #46, next to clancy boy I believe. Yes, I'm looking forward to checking out another TW as well. Like ALANSD pointed out, it looks like were close to becoming a vintage rally, but I'm really looking forward to seeing the newer Airstreams too. You just can't go wrong with an Airstream . . . . may fall into a money pit, but you can't go wrong!

Was looking like we would be out away from it all, with the concentration of AS's on the point. I asked the camp ground attendant when I called and she said all the campsites were great lake views on that side. Going to be a great cross section of years and sizes for this rally.

I have NO problem camping next to a Mississippi Kiln-billy as long as you don't mind a muleheaded Tennessean! If you still have your window AC (http://www.airforums.com/forum...42-post14.html), you'll especially feel right at home next to my little 'ole installation.

But hey, there ain't no trailer trash in this lakeside neighborhood. . . We are all about steppin' in high cotton!
