Oh come on Alan, you mean you never improvised and used non-Airstream products in your renovations of your motorhome or current coach? Give the man a little break. If it ain't orange or white, it don't count as a pumpkin anyway, it's just a gord.(sp?)

Elections

One thing we forgot about. With a rally of this size we need to have an election meeting and vote to elect officers. For the sake of time, I move that we nominate and elect everyone attending as President. The term of office is for the duration of the rally and everyone has a vote. (Just Kidding)

Maybe we should hold elections like we do in our homeowner association. Anyone who doesn't show up to our holiday party gets voted president.

I second the motion to adjourn. Simply on the ground that a motion to adjourn is always in order.....

I'm starting to feel worse and worse for the non-A/S folks anywhere within shouting distance of us. Poor things.

Rally

We never have been to any type of rally. Then again we have only been doing the Airstream thing just a bit over a year.I am hoping all goes well and we can possibly get a chance to do something like this.I am trying to see if I am able to get off work to go.It would be really great to meet some of the people behind the names on this forum.Wish me luck.

we attended our first Rally with anticipation mixed with excitement 5 years ago. We were really thrilled to see a grouping of Classic Motorhomes together for a weekend, as we had never seen any but our own to that point.
When we organized the first Forums Rally we had 12 or so units, and truly enjoyed the fellowship, lack of agenda, and the information shared amongst us. We had very experienced airstreamers along with some who had never camped before..or even backed the trailer up yet.
Since then many fun get togethers, with people of all sorts of diverse backgrounds with the one common bond being Aluminitus!

And it STARTS

That's great HAPPYCAMPERS, we'll see you there - just another indication that the time is nearing for us all to get together. I to start my long trip home then up to North Georgia for the rally. I'm leaving Japan in less than 36 hours to head home. I called my wife and she is ready to go.

ALANSD - I know your feelings about your comment on your first rally. We are excited too with little understanding of how all this will be for us. I cannot wait to meet and SEE the people I chat with online. More than that, this will hopefully be a new chapter in our lives for adventures for me and my wife to hit the road more.

This may be my last post till I get home - we always seem to lose our satellite connection because of interference in port.

SEE YOU ON THE ROAD.......
