Alan, I resemble that remark! Anyone need a plastic wine glass, let me know. Afterall, we will have the special Halloween glasses with us along with the usual supply.

My wife has told me she can not get off, but I decided to attend anyway. I registered today (Site 65). I plan to arrive on Thursday. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

welcome to the crazy fun lovin' group Greg.
Kathy plastic wine glasses might be the ticket, we can set up a table for our wine tasting area near our trailers as we are next together this time.Anyone have a suggested time? Before or after dinner? Or earlier???
Coffee tasting will be at breakfast Saturday approx 9am....I know its late for some, so lets gather at 8-8:30 for "hello how are y'all?".
If there are tea drinkers thats fine too. I like black or herbal but still partial to coffee. Shan is bringing her special hot chocolate machine, so we can taste that too.

My recommendation is that any Halloween pumpkin carvings (with sharp knives) happen before the wine tastings. So close to Halloween - hmmmm

yes!! I second that. And I don't want anyone to think we are getting too organized. Just trying to have some fun,,,,we will keep it very loose. No real set schedules. No flag raising ( not that I mind that) or other ceremonies.
Not even a dog show.

You guys are starting to get me worried (just kidding). I plan to watch the rest of you doing all this stuff.

Me, once I get home and pack up to leave I'll be ON VACATION. Please, stop by as you pass to other events, I'll be the one passed out trying to adjust to the change in time zones. BTW I drink COKE for breakfast.

Now a pumpkin carving contest? First one to get a AS shaped pumpkin wins.

I cannot wait to see all the other trailers, we went to look at 07's 6 weeks ago and that may be a future plan. Want to look at some newer lived in ones first.

I'm afraid of what will happen if Daisy losses the dog show, she may attack the winner and steal the tiara, she's the jealous type at 9 pounds of pure terror.

Pumpkin carving contest? We're in! We're the reigning Louisville champions for our Airstream Pumpkin last year.

Looks like we're going to take the kids out of school a little early and head down around noon on Friday. We should get in before it gets dark instead of a late night arrival - yahoo!

I don't know if I could stand the stress of a sitting and relaxing contest. Maybe I will just sit back and watch it.

Great pumpkin. It is even anotomically correct with the A/C units and everything. Didn't see the wheels, so was it a dual or triple axial. Or was it a '50's era single.

No wheels. It's a hunting shack...we put it up on squash blocks years ago.

Oh, too bad. So many vintage units wind up that way. The next thing you know, they begin to just sit and rot away.
