I released two sites
If anyone is looking for a site at the campground for the AS gathering I just called and released two sites in A section. My family is not able to attend so I let A33 and A35 go back to available. Both are great spots on top of the hill overlooking the lake. I had them for Fri and Sat. Nights.

Hate it but we have to cancel. (just too much going on with new pizza store build out, etc.)

We will replace entertainment to campfires on Saturday night. Gathering with friends is Strongly Advised.
Also, if anyone is interested, we could have groups take hikes or bikes to the Jackrabbit Mountain Trail nearby. Perhaps Friday and / or Saturday.

Deb and I are bringing mountain bikes. We are not technical riders but enjoy easier trails. We would be up for a ride.

Reminder and Schedule:
Just wanted to provide everyone with a reminder about a few things we do which are unique to this rally.
First - Door Prizes -
We don't provide door prizes for this rally, but we do offer an exchange. You are encouraged to bring an Airstream, vintage trailer, camping related item, or something else entirely to participate in our prize exchange. Everyone who brings an item will receive one from the drawing. Please bring the item in a bag or wrapping to the Happy Hour on Saturday. When you do, your name will be entered for the drawing.
Second - Meals - Pot Luck
We will have meals on Saturday for Breakfast and Dinner. The Pot Luck is voluntary and the assortment of food is always good. Label your item and provide a list of ingredients, for those who may have allergies. Also remember to label your stuff. We will NOT provide plates, utensils, or napkins. Bring what you need, and may a few spare to help others.
Third - Ice Breaker
Everyone present on Friday evening is welcome to bring as much or as little as they care to share for the Ice Breaker. Normally this is a kind of happy hour, but it can last a while, if we wish.
Schedule:
The gathering in Hiawassee is coming up next month! Not everyone who has told us they are attending is listed, but there will be more updates.
Here are the tentative plans:
Friday - arrival day. Gather with friends, visit Brasstown Bald, drive to the top of Bell Mountain, or visit Hightower Creek Vineyards.... all on your own. Also, hike or bike at Jackrabbit Mountain or paddle in Lake Chatuge. There are plenty of activities to keep you busy.
5:00 - ? Return to the park for the Ice Breaker. Bring finger food, plates, napkins, utensils, and your beverage of choice to the main shelter. We will have introductions.
Dark- Trailerside campfires. Share a fire with your neighbors and make new friends.
Saturday- The main event
9:00 Breakfast. Again, bring food to share, plates, napkins utensils, and coffee cups.
Pick up Open House signs for later.
Noon - 2
Trailer Open House
Those care to share will open and offer tours of their rigs.
5:00 Happy Hour. Bring your Gift to Exchange and get a ticket for the drawing. Those who bring a prize, win a prize.
6:00. Pot Luck Dinner. You know the routine. Bring it all and enjoy a great meal.
6:30. Door Prize Drawing
Campfires Trailerside.
