Hi everyone,

We'll be joining! We're in 39, across the highway. We've had our '80 Caravelle just a few weeks and were happy to find this event was happening on the weekend we had already planned for our first official camping trip.

Is anyone coordinating food for the potlucks or do you have any ideas of what would be good to bring?

Can't wait to meet you all!

Only One More Week!

Greetings all ....looking forward to another great Fall rally in the beautiful N. Georgia mountains!

Brenda will be up Friday with the 5 younger ones (Kevin will be doing the towing/parking duties so spotters are most welcome Friday afternoon at C-1) (Don't tell Kevin I said that)

Steven and I will be up either late Friday or early Saturday morning for breakfast. Brian and Jason will join us later that afternoon (they're opening crew at pizza store...should be out by 3 pm)

We will be "hosting" the breakfast with a large urn of coffee and waffle irons/waffle batter.

This year, Phil and I will provide a bit of "mood music" for the Saturday afternoon "happy hour" and welcome anyone with any musical inclinations to join us at the pavilion.

After the potluck, we will provide a some more musical entertainment of our favorite (and hopefully your favorite) songs. Here's a 6 song sampler we recently recorded...Strike4 2018 Sampler

Looking forward to a great weekend and excited to catch up with everyone as well as place new faces with new names (I PROMISE TO WEAR MY NAME TAG!)

Sorry you can’t make it. Think about late March. We will be announcing the spring gathering in about a week.

Maybe Ella1980 would like to move across the street.

Any updates on food coordination? Hate to see a dozen salads on potluck night, though if everyone brings bacon to Saturday breakfast I'd be ok with that.

thanks!

For those who've been there, what's the best route from the south?
Hiawassee on 76? ( Just want to avoid the one lane mountain road that a GPS will sometimes send one).

Speaking of GPS I tried to program "1311 Music Hall Rd." In the GPS and it said "Could not be found". By zooming into the map, Music Hall rd. was on the map so I added a waypoint.

It depends on your preference. Both GA 17 from Helen and US 76 from Clayton offer scenic mountain vistas and curves. Both are good roads with some passing zones. I prefer GA 17. If coming from the Southwest, the drive up from Ellijay through Blairsville.
