Schedule
Matt posted it a little earlier in the thread but I'll post it again, here.
We will have the usual events:
Friday 3PM - Jam Session at the Shelter for those interested in playing.
Friday 4PM - Meet and Greet at the Shelter - Bring your beverage, finger food to share, and your plates, utensils, etc.
Saturday - 9:30 AM Pot Luck Breakfast at the Shelter. Bring something to share, your plate, napkin, and utensils
Saturday Noon - Open House
Saturday - 3PM Jam Session at the Shelter.
Saturday - 5 PM Pot Luck Dinner at the Shelter. Bring something to share, your plate, napkin, and utensils.
The band will play until they quit.
Hope to see everyone there!

Wish we were there!
We're in Hungry Mother State Park (what a name!) outside Marion, Virginia, go up to Leesburg, Va. tomorrow to do grandparent type stuff. It's supposed to be in the lower 20s there a couple of nights, hopefully it's going to be warmer in Hiawassee.

Saturday Afternoon Music/Football
Jason and I plan to drive up Saturday and will bring the travel kit (drums) but no drummer (Steven is working all weekend). If anyone feels so inclined, please join in.
Also, as per my phonecon with Matt (on his drive to Hiawassee), it would be nice to have the LSU/Alabama game and Georgia/Missouri game at the pavilion and I think we could pull it off with enough coaxial cable.
I will bring all the coax I have and any couplers I can find, and Matt will do the same. If anyone else has any long sections of coax, it might come in handy.

Thanks Al for volunteering to help with future rallys. Sue and I are thinking of more stuff to add to the Rally (lists of vineyards, grocery stores, vets, hospitals, thrift stores, etc).

We plan to expand our Spring Event to include more activities.

It's true, no Fall Event scheduled for the North Georgia Fairgrounds. Many of us who have attended have also attended the Alumalina Rally, and it is a big one.
When I was working, I had a hard time getting to both, but now that I m retired and can, there will be just that one Fall Rally (unless we find others, which we might).
The Fairgrounds is a beautiful venue, especially in Fall, but cold weather has always been a problem.
I plan to watch for possible Rallies to attend and although I will miss the Fall Rally here, I am planning to be on the road many times this coming year. See ya' down the road!
