We have had a number of laid back fun times in the N. Georgia Mountains.
Our next get together will be October 26 weekend at the Georgia Mountain Fair Campground Section 1. Be sure to book section one and try to get between sites 74 and 31 ...or nearby.
After calling and emailing five parks, it seems October is almost sold out all over our area.
Having been to Lake Chatuge before...we know it will be ok...no Pavillion this time BUT there are 70 or more sites available and many are water front.
We will have a fabulous weekend of fun, food, music, fellowship and Airstreams...of course. Anyone is welcome trailer or not.

. . . and I'm already booking for Falluminum! Just now reserved site 46, the same one we had last fall. Mom loved that spot so it will work out well for us. I tried for 50 or 51, but again they are booked. Probably the same SOBs that seem to camp out there for the summer. Let's smother them in aluminum.
We're looking forward to another great event on the lake.
I was so excited to post that we were coming that I booked the site in the wrong area. After looking again at the details, I called back and asked them to switch my reservation to Area #1. We are in site 53 now...sites 50-52 are booked for the entire month.

I just booked site 48. It's right on the water. Seems the sites on this side of the highway are smaller than the ones on the other side so it might be a tight fit, but we'll manage. See y'all in the fall...wo, I made a rhyme.

Unless things change, at work, it doesn't look like Nancy and I will make it. We have our fingers crossed. Anyway sounds like another opportunity to have gret time with wonderful people. Enjoy.
Just booked site 37 for 3 nights (arrive Fri eve, leave Mon) . Had trouble finding an open site big enough for our "new" Sovereign ('83 31') . We are really thrilled about getting this trailer. We have been out once (Chattanooga/Ft Oglethorp?) and hand-delivered the Nick and Nora twin sheets to Sugarfoot (won at Springstream) .
Hope there is an opportunity to play some music again-no pavilion though.
