We made the drive home yesterday to have today to get eerything organized before I leave for my trip. 10.5 hours on the road is not fun and I will not do that again.
All the pictures are great but they just barely scratch the surface as to the beauty and fellowship we have at this rally. Thanks to all that assisted me too at this rally, I had a black tank issue also, so I will let those who helped me remain un-nammed - BUT you know who you are, and many many thanks.
We had a last night get together Sunday night with Phil and/or Sue, McLogger (family), Glen Coombe (w/ wife) and Overlander63 (w/ wife) and the pie donated by Sugarfoot. It was a great ending to a wonderful rally.
Klattu, we missed ya'll at the rally. The tentative date for SpringStream is April 11-13. Alan is going to call the campground and see if we can have enough sites. He will post what he finds. We are all waiting on pins and needles, and I just got home 2 days ago!

It's Time To Rally!
Falluminum '08 - Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds
Hiawassee, GA
November 7-9, 2008
I just wanted to take a minute and thank everybody that was still around by the time we made it there. We got to meet several great forums members, and maybe we will be able to get together for the Can Opener. While Hiawassi was terrific, I don't think I want to tow Bertha through those mountains again.

Thanks to everyone who posted pictures. We wish we could have been there; thanks for making it a little possible by sharing all these great pictures. We hope to be there next spring because last spring was so much fun!

Howdy, Terry. Most of the roads are not so bad, but you have to stay off of Rt 64 between Franklin and Hendersonville (past Highlands)! At least do not travel that stretch of road while pulling a trailer ! What a trip you had...and keep the buses out of your way, too.
Glad Sue and I had a chance to meet you and Marie.

Missed this Rally, but we won't miss the spring shindig. Count me in. Just by seeing the small number of photos, I know that everyone had great time... I'll be checking in often to see what Allen comes up with.
I sppoke with the campground, they will not open up for reservations until the second week of January. Right now there are noe ents planned for the 11th of April so I say we go for it.
I will open a new Rally thread called Springstream in Georgia 08
Looking forward to another great time, although our drummer boy may be unable to be there that weekend. Guess we will need a fill in, or maybe I can talk my 20 year old into coming and handling that part of the music for us. I also have a camping friend in my band who might join us, he's a tent-er.

Streamin Guy... absolutely great pictures of falluminum.. We had a wonderful time meeting new people and christening the Lemondrop. See everyone in the Spring... I can't retire yet !!!! As a school principal, January means back from Christmas break, so no time off until Spring.
