Falluminum In North Georgia

We just had our Springstream Rally in Hiawassee, Ga this past weekend. Another fun time with lots of aluminum( Trailers, motorhomes and boats) and some others as well.. we have a music "jam" ,two shared dish meals, and a tour of homes..as well as great fellowship.

So here is your opportunity once again....see the leaves in all their colors in the beautiful N Georgia mountains on Lake Chatuge!

Book your site now while they are still available.

November 7 and 8, 2008 weekend

We'll try to get time to go, don't know if the powers that be will allow it. Last time was fun, we only wish we had gotten there sooner.
I DO know if we go, it won't be via US64...

Maybe, just maybe, we can make this one, too. We would love to meet Terry and Marie.

Terry, now that we've got 30 amp service at the house, you can stay here overnight and we'll caravan up together. I'll show you a few "shortcuts".

I'll have to check the calendar to see how it goes to see if we can make it. Won't know for another few weeks. But hopefully we can make this one. The N. GA mountains are beautiful when the leaves turn in the fall.

I propose that everyone invite some Airstreamer ( or other enthusiast) who hasn't come before, maybe we can really fill up the spaces with our group.

A-35

I just called to get a spot, and they said almost all of Section 2 is booked up, with nothing left on the water. She said there were only 20 or so spots left in section A, BUT Section A doesn't allow open campfires... which kinda stinks in the fall.... what to do? You can bring a chimney or covered fire dish.

Anyway, I went ahead and booked A-35 just to make sure I have it. She said I could move if something opened up. To Feathercraft, or NOT to Feathercraft... THAT is the question......

Ok I called back- There are plenty of sites up the little hiill in section A on area 1...
If we move to Nov 7,8 we are pretty ell wode open for waterfront sites and more in Section B and C.
The reason they are so booked is in October they have a few festivals.
I am ok with chancing the Nov date if others agree.... I will post a poll, but we need to move on this soon so we can pick what makes sense for all. Thanks

Please note that the Section A sites are still in Area 2 (the music hall side) with most having full hookups. The other side of the highway is Area 1, and have water/electric only.

It looks like the average high for Oct 24 is about 65, and the average high for Nov 7 is about 62.

If we change to November, we can take over the B, C (waterfront) and F (closer to Pavilion) sections of Area 2.

I'm voting (saying) "yes" to November 7,8.

To Move or Not to Move

Both dates work for us right now. We just need to block those dates for pet sitting.
