Just booked F-8. The kids really enjoy the hill with their scooters!
Howdy, Ron. Great to hear you're coming. Are you arriving Friday or Saturday? We're probably going to arrive Fri by 5:00pm, and leave Monday. Hope you're planning to play some more music too!

Brad, glad to hear you're planning on coming too! "Cabin closing", what??? Where? Can we Rally at your new cabin? Tuning is good, but I will not be starting my engine (on my truck) just yet. I calculated that it is now costing me $0.23/mile in diesel fuel while not towing, and almost $0.29/mile towing. (My Jetta is about $0.09/mile by comparison.)

For those of you asking about our log cabin - good news and bad news. The good news is that it is really cool - sits overlooking a running creek - very soothing, in Hamilton, GA - about 5 miles from FDR State Park campground and 3 miles from the entrance to Calloway Gardens. The bad news is there is not space for more than 1 or 2 AS's (we're talking a one acre lot, not a 200 acre plot).
But I digress. We just signed up for Falluminum - add us to site B15!

We will actually be having some out of town guests joining us. Julie's mum (from the UK) and her man will be in C1. Now I HAVE to get the little trailer done!
Speaking of which, we're still expecting further Feathercraft updates from Klattu regarding the vintage motor, and anything else that A-Merry-Can wants to add/tweak. Just because the Springstream Feathercraft Rally has come and gone doesn't mean you're off the hook for updates-- the boaters out here in the Airforums world need more!
Ha! Noted! It's bumped down a few points, though in terms of priority at the moment. I'm redoing the interior of our Trade Wind, and I need to get the 18 footer finished for the fall (as our guest house for Falluminum). ha! Once that's done, I'll be back in the program!

Fair enough, I've enjoyed following your work on your Airstreams as well. I've seen your threads for the '59 and '62, but did you start one for the Tradewind as well? If so I must have missed it.

Nah, I'm really just freshening up the Trade Wind... new floor, new paint and new cabinets (with a new layout). I'm not messing with the frame, belly pan or skins. I'm hoping to have it back together within a few weeks, time permitting, of course! As for making a thread... the more pics I take, the slower the progress! I do need to start back on the '59, though. I haven't posted anything to that thread in so long!
I can't believe we're already up to 17 trailers. How cool! (map's updated below).

Cheerio!

I understand, as an engineer I know all too well how documentation is incredibly time-consuming.
Still, what you're doing to the TW might seem minor to you compared to the total restos on your other trailers, but it probably seems like a major overhaul to other people-- especially the new cabinets and new layout you're considering. I (and I'm sure others) would definitely be interested in seeing any before/after shots you manage to take, whenever you have a moment to post them up. No pressure though, of course.
Put me on the map, JP. I've moved my reservation date and have site B13 for Friday and Saturday. Now I've got to find a way to get off work early enough to be there before midnight.
