The Poll is over ( already) ...we had to go for it as sites are filling up. The choices are much better for the Nov7 weekend. if you already made a reservation, the Park will gladly swap it at no charge to you.

That was my spot last weekend! There's a great tree down by the water to tie the boat up to! hehe.
JP
did you carve 'feathercraft landing' in that tree?
[just kiddin]
looking forward to it already. november - could be brisk by morning; fixing the furnace just added to the to-do list. as of today, dedicated 30A to camper x'd off that list
ditto on the thread name adjustment and map request
Was kinda worried about hills and curvy road since we had never been here before.
After taking this route to Springstream, wanted to share with first timers.
Great roads and mostly 4-lane all the way.
Atlanta was the only obstacle...and we went thru there at 5am.
If this comes close to your path, get on one of these roads.

The first time we went to a Springstream, we took the road thru Helen. Very hilly and curvy. Then Ellen and Roy (Springstream 07) gave us their map showing the way on the map above-it is a great improvement.
Ok, TJ and I are in for sites F2 and F4. We decided to go inland because of the wind damage at Springstream. And on that note, the only damage was one bracket that broke on mine and 2 brackets on TJ's. The brackets cost $8 each. Talk about luck! Especially since my converter also went out and burned some wires with it. I haven't even asked the cost on that one yet! But should get the Airstream back by the end of the week. This is just in time to pack for our next trip to Raccoon Mtn for the bluegrass festival. I just love spring!
