Okay. I have never done this before and I don't want to bring the same thing someone else is bringing. Are side dishes, main dishes, desserts more in need / desire? I know for the canopener several people are bringing things I would typically bring.

Hey everyone have a great time, if it wasn't so far I'd join you, the last trip was great.

Headed to RI and NH next weekend before it snows.

I am really looking forward to this weekend and eating all the good cooking. TV is running again and a friend will stop by Thursday night to tune it better than I can.

We drove by Lake Chatuge this weekend on the way home from Murphy. Looks like there is still enough water to take a swim. I will try convince our dogs to join me.

It's Monday and I SOLD the Airstream

YIKES I open up my email this morning to find a cash offer on the trailer I was planning to bring to Falluminum. Buyer has been sitting on the fence for a few weeks.

So now to plan B. I have the Argosy in the back yard. I used it a few weeks back and it is better than a tent in all respects. I'll be in the '77 26' Argosy.

Looking forward to seeing everyone for "MY" fall birthday bash weekend.

With the music, breakfast, open house, and potluck meal, sightseeing, and tours, will I have time to fit it all into a weekend? I sure will try.

Congratulations Silverhobby! I just listed mine in the classifieds this morning. Hopefully it won't take too long to sell. I need room to park my vehicles in my driveway! Right now it is full of aluminum!!!!!

Congrats on the sale. Argosys are always good to see.

Anyone experienced in setting up satellite? I have the dish, the cable, the stand, the set top box, the subscription. the sat finder, and all that ..but have not yet gotten it to work for me.

Hey Allan,
Using the satellite finder helps get you in the general direction, but I've found having the TV on using direct TV's set up screen, and listening for the "beeps" works best for the fine tuning the direction of the dish. The angle that the dish points up into the sky is critical, make sure that the angle has been measured carefully, then slowly find the southerly angle using the beeps. Were going to leave ours home, but I'd be glad to help you Friday afternoon.

We won't make it in until Friday at 7 or so, as we can't get away until after 4:30. But , looking forward to getting there!

Hey all,

We'll be rallying at Lake San Antonio, CA that weekend, but we're looking forward to moving back east in December.

We own a small farm in Perry, GA, but before we get back to it, we have to endure 5 months in the Washington, DC area. We'll be full-timing in our 31 foot Airstream for the duration.

I thought I'd say hello in advance. Enjoy your rally.

Hey Steven and Susan, hopefully you will be back here in time for our rally in April. We'll decide on a date and place probably at this rally, but it is usually around the 3rd weekend in April. Enjoy your stay in Washington and hurry home!

Congrats Silverhobby on your sale, even if the timing wasn't what you expected. We need more Argosy's around anyway.

Aluminum, huh. And your problem is . . . .????

Hey Ajanib (Steve), you know you will be welcomed back to the east with open arms. Maybe you'll be back in time to make the Spring Rally.

Fort Mtn. was simply perfect, the trees are just starting to show color. Things should look great now for the Falluminum. So, it's map update time. Here is the new one. Changes include Soldiermedic's and Moonshot's cancellation (we'll miss you), the inclusion of names enrolled for which I have no site number, and Em, God love him, has changed his "extra" site for anyone who may unexpectedly need it to site #33. That's a whole other story. It seems Feebe had sweet-talked him so he got confused with his "notes". Then there was the problem with trees, and trailer length, and knuckleheads, and so on . . . . I think I have it straight now.

campfires, charcoal grills?

With this beautiful rain falling, does anyone know if these are allowed?
