Nice! Maybe I should drive over there...

Sue and I (and the dogs) went to Myrtle Beach two weeks ago. A little run to enjoy the beach and warmth while we could (with friends from Maryland). Dogs allowed on the beach before 9am and after 5 pm. The water was warm, but lots of seashells so we each wore our Crocs to go swimming. Only got caught in the riptide once, but I grabbed Sue and we struggled back in (walking when my feet hit the bottom between waves) before we got in over our necks.

Looking forward to Falluminum and seeing everyone. Also the opportunity to play some music! (Really, PizzaChop, who ever heard of the Smithereens? But if you can sing it, we can play it!) "Living in Aluminum" has become "Living for Falluminum".

Ah, Allan.... the Creek is in reference to the native American Creek tribe. It should be given a Capital C.

Just to let you know I'm still here... ragin' on you and looking forward to seeing everyone next weekend.

One wouldn't want to offend a native American and have them protest our gathering now would ya'?

Which ever creek or Creek, if someone could turn the rain back on it sure would be nice.

Apparently they only turned it on in southern GA. Those of us in NE GA barely saw a few drops. At least there were some drops.

The Corps said yesterday there is about 100 days water left in Lake Lanier. Then they might be able to access an emergency supply, but you can imagine what might be floating in that part of the lake

I am giving serious thought to installing a well. I imagine it's a great time to be in the well-digging business.

Today, I am more focused on getting the tow vehicle ready for next weekend. I'll worry about the water after next weekend.

We went up to Murphy NC today (to the in-laws house) and if next weekend is anything like today we will have a wonderful time. The leaves are starting to change but it is not quite peak yet. Hopefully next weekend.

I've been looking and looking and looking and can't seem to find a listing for the pot-luck on Saturday. There is a potluck on Saturday, right? What's everyone bringing?

Yes, there is a saturday pot-luck. I think it's open to the attendee to decide what they will bring. We have been to 3 rallies now in the last year and I have to say that I have never been hungry after the pot-lucks I have been to. Come with what you want - there will be plenty for all.

spent this weekend in Helen

It couldn't have been any better weather wise...until next weekend, which will be better...looks like some dust settleing showers this week, and a perfect weekend on tap.
