Thats the new "hatch" model. No door. You go thru a roof hatch, drop down on a rope ladder. Very cool.
As for the kids movie, we actually had a 5th grade teacher try to show the uncut Men In Black at my school. Said she didn't think it was too bad.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We just got back from streamin' to the Ga Apple Festival in Ellijay. Wow what a great weekend. Weather was fabulous, and the festival was jam packed with people (and apples). Hiawassee should be gorgeous.

Alan, I drive to work through Ellijay, and had to go around downtown yesterday and today because of the traffic congestion. Were you camping, or merely driving up and back? The Plum Nelly campground is right on 515 just south of town.
Regarding the hatch, does that replace the Fantastic Fan?
Some movies are just not appropriate for younger people. For example, I took my (at the time) young daughter to Bull Durham (a baseball movie, right? )! My wife and I didn't feel too bad until we were walking out and ran into a couple from our Church!
For the Raffle Saturday evening, here is a pic of our donation. Are you keeping a running list?

We camped with our son Camperski, at Springstream and became hooked again on camping. We found a 1963 Shasta Airflyte and just got it painted by the " Spartan man " who was at Springstream. Yellow and white in color as in Lemondrop... Come by and we'll have lemonade, lemonchello, lemondrops and lemon for youir tea... We have put some hours into and it could use more but we are so excited about Fallinium... We are bringing a SOB with us, so be kind!!! They can't help it!
The Pickens SC campers will be there with at least 4 maybe 5 campers.
Alan, our weekend is the last weekend of Octoberfest in Helen, so maybe the crowds will be less anyway. Afterall, they've had a month to party. It might be a little slow but I think you'll be OK.

Oh yes, the little camper that has it's wings. I can't wait for the tour. I'm sure it looks fabulous.
We drove through Helen last year - it was around 5pm with no issue at all. Traffic was light to medium with stoppages in all the expected places in town (crosswalks and busy shopping areas).
We did it as Helen was where we went on our honeymoon, a few moons ago...... That's why we will arrive a day early to get some shopping in the day before the rally, got to go to Helen.
You will get the expected finger pointing and stares from passing motorists but they can't help it. Everyone loves an Airstream.
We are looking forward to Fallinium... Got the camping bug again when we joined our son, Camperski, at Springstream. We found a 1963 Shasta Airflyte and have worked on it. Needs a few more things done, but we'll be there with the Lemondrop in a few weeks.
Pickens County will have 4, maybe 5 campers at Hiawassee. One is a SOB.. Please be kind. They can't help it!
Looking forward to raffle, food, music and tours.
Come see us for Lemondrops, lemonade, lemonchello and lemon for your tea.
I'd post a picture but I don't know how...
You won't be able to miss us. E are in 62 or 64???

At 40+ to have Mom show up in your "secret club" well.....its ok.
well i believe i read that the Shasta was somehow related to the early AStreams. Anyway, this project started about 2 weeks after Springstream. And I've got to get off line to go polish the wings tonight so I can put them on tommorrw.
