We have been out once (Chattanooga/Ft Oglethorp?) and hand-delivered the Nick and Nora twin sheets to Sugarfoot (won at Springstream) .

Hope there is an opportunity to play some music again-no pavilion though.
Congratulations on the new Airstream! I'm glad things are going well with her. Have you named her (or him) yet? Look forward to seeing the new addition to your line-up in the fall.

How we look now

I'm going to attempt a site map like Klattu did for the Can Opener. Click to enlarge and put your glasses on. So here it goes . . .

With level, long and waterfront as the prerequisites we're in site 16. The spur of area one is the last spot you're going to find waterfront so book now!
See ya'll in the fall.

Dang, Glen is over there all by his lonesome. Somebody better get one of the sites over there so he won't get lonely.

You didn't know what you were signing on for did you Dachia?

Need info

Oh well, I wish I had more time to check this forum! in an attempt to get a good site, I booked a nice site in area 2 about a week ago when the date was determined but I didn't know that it was going to be in a different area than the Sprinstream get together. Just so everyone knows, there are no sewer hookups in area one so if you're like me, you and I will will need to go by one of those gray water tanks. That will cost more than the weekend of camping!
Also when I called to change my reservation to area 1, the guy advised me that numerous others from the Airstream group booked in area two like me and were still booked there. They may be aware but i just wanted to pass it along in case they thought that they were camping with the group!

Thanks, Geven

Hmmm, I know Desidou first reserved in Area 2, but then moved to Area 1. You may not be the only one that booked early and hasn't had a chance to check the forums. Thanks for the heads-up. I'll call the Fairground in the morning and see what I can find out.

Geven, when you called did you move to a new site in 1, or are you still in Area 2?

So, Alan.... just because we're in area 1 why no pavillion?? If it's available I vote we snag it for the pot luck. Even if we have to pay for it I think whatever the charge might be would easily be averaged between all who attend.
I mean if the Aluminum Band shows up again where will they play?? We don't want to start a riot in area one with all the SOB owners who don't have good taste in music. Oh, and I also vote for longer, multiple sets too.

And yes would somebody please book over on my island....(doh!..'scuse me..make that "peninsula".... I don't want to be over there all by my lonesome... folks will think us antisocial. Besides think of the view looking back at area one with all that shinny aluminum.
