Now how is it that y'all in the PCC seem to just happen to be in the right place at the right time to procure all these wonderful vintage campers for your group . . . is it serendipitous or do you have some sort of Pickens County vintage camper cartel going on there?
Glen, we've got to find you some company over there.
We brought home a 1950 Royal Mansion tandem last week and the work has begun for Whitmire with his second Spartan...My Spartan is moving along too. However, we found a 1948 Star that we spent tonight cleaning out as we ready it for a move to the farm....and a 68 Avion H-25...might happen!

OK, the PCC (a.k.a. Pickens County Camper Cartel) is at it again. How come when I check under all the kudzu around Chattanooga there are no vintage campers to be found? I think you're feeding the kudzu something funky over there. I can't wait to see your new additions to the collection.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to join ALANSD and me at Raccoon Mountain the weekend of July 6. I'm going to set up at my site July 5, so come on JP, you can do it. It would be a nice quick get-away, and fun.
We did get the 68 Avion for a newbie today...been kept in the barn when not used...1 owner...its a clean up and pack, not a restoration! WHat a lucky man! Sounds like Big John has the bathroom back together ion the 75 so he's lookin for a site to join us! Good luck on the mansion Alan! We're pulling the As and the Spartan to Lake Keowee for a retro 4th.
Happy 4th to all!

the mansion was a pig sty. The skin looks ok, but a few broken windows and a roof vent left open have turned the inside into a gross mess.
I am seeing if i can get the light fixtures, especially the cute deco porch light, to restore.

Man, how do y'all do it? I think for my next project I'm gonna have y'all locate one for me! (Not a word of this to Susan).
We'll be passing Lake Keowee on the way to western N.C. on Thursday. We'll wave as we go by.
