Oh my! The 34 footer with rooms to let now resides full-time at the farm. With that kind of tonnage she is now limited to 50 mile trips.
Just enough to bring home and get wet docked for repairs.
Our newest acquisition, 77 Argosy, is going to be our “rally” rambler.
Well, if we can ever actually make it to a rally.

I like the idea of a progressive North Georgia Unit to become affiliated with, but that's just me. Our rallies could always be buddy rallies so everybody that is associated with our current group would still be included.
About the only "formal" things would be a sign-up sheet for the rallies to show who attended and one for "guest of the members" to show who non-members attended and then a couple of lines of minutes for the next rally. A couple of business meeting per year and that should be it and the requisite accounting functions...plus someone to attend the International (?).

If this group intends to change it's mission or purpose, maybe the idea should be considered. Right now we have a good thing going with a little fun, a little music, a little food (OK, a lot of food), and a little camping with friends regardless of camper badging. I like us just the way we are. No pressure and the living is easy.

I think the willingness to except various vintage coaches at the Spring rally showed our small group what a great bunch of people we have met here! OUr Spartans, Shastas, Avions, and oh yes we have Airstreams seem to run nicley together in packs. I dont think we'll ever join anything more formal than this....Oh yeah ran in to a Shasta in Big Cove, above Cherokee last week from Chatlottesville VA...he was VERY interested in the North GA happenings...i mean rallies. Weather its through this site, or this old rv...count the growing bunch from SC as in! thanks Alan for all you do!

GOTCHA...I do agree. I am hopeful that the other web site will eventually attract some SOB vintage owners too. There are some way cool trailers and motorhomes out there and owners who would enjoy our type of laid back fun.
As for the pig he jumped out of the truck last time around. Maybe we should have a deer roast? I went to one once with various types of venison. (This from someone who eats no red meat ) Oh I know a TOFU roast!!

The floor is finally in!!!!
The Marmoleum floor is finally in the rolling espresso machine. Cabinets are going in this weekend. Soon it will be time to hit the road and get back to some serious (or in my case humorous) camping. At least for this season! Next season's fun will be glass, counters, and lighting; but in the mean time there is camping, fly fishing, canoeing, and Falluminum in the GA Mountains.
See ya

Hey Randy:
The machine will be on and hot in the AM but no Starbucks here... I like Airbucks better. I will be serving my own espresso blend and possibly some free trade single origin coffee as well. We will be there Thursday and are in space 82 on the water below Desidou in her cool Bambi CCD. Stop by and say hey...

I like the coffee klatch in the early Sat morn. What say we all meet somewhere about 9 ish?? But coffee for the early risers at say 8??
Then we can plan a few things to get the day rolling. No covered pavillion on this side so we can meet at a central point tbd. We can pick the best area for the evening get together.
Tour of homes after noon.
Anyone that has cyclo, its always nice to have a demo. On my trailer that is
I will look for anyone who would like to donate gift ideas for the raffle. Last time this was terrific.
