You are too kind!!! We are sorry we missed y'all in the spring but we have reserved fly fishing campouts at Long Branch on the Caney Fork River and Center Hill Lake on July 13-15, 20-22, and August 9-12. Here is a link to the campsite and some of the best trout in TN (Shhhh, don't tell anyone) http://www.lrn.usace.army.mil/op/cen...Branch_map.pdf.
FYI, I will be bringing the espresso maker in our dual axle rolling espresso machine.
Alan...do you need an extra Nashville Telecaster?
M&K
Mario, another guitar!!!! (Sadly, it's a Fender) How old is the Tele? What amp? BTW, missed you in the spring!
I so much enjoyed playing with kindred folk at Springstream, and am looking forward to more. A version of "Living in Aluminum" is going to be put out there whatever may come. Alan and I talked about it, but I cannot do the guitar run and sing at the same time, and both are important.
Sue and I are hoping to get out some more this summer and have focused on our big trip to Maryland for the annual 4th of July family reunion. Maybe more in July' I'll have to check the links you've provided, and see what my work schedule will allow.

Kind of hard to follow this thread. Is there still an Oct26 rally being held?
The short answer is YES. If you go to the rally page there will be a complete rally listing including this one. Join in, bring the family and pets, we would love to see you there.
The thread gets confusing but that is because we are so excited about the rally that we post everything in here. Ask questions - others will have the same questions but some hold back and read the thread completely - we don't mind answering questions here.

Definitely! Sorry the thread's been hard to follow. The rally is the weekend of the 26th of October, some of us are coming in as early as Wednesday or Thursday. Its at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds campground in Area 1. Try the link 2007 Falluminum album for a site map with everyone's location that has reserved thus far. Just click on the map to enlarge, or download and enlarge to your PC. We would love to have you join us.
The Caney Fork River is one of my most favorite spots. We always camp at Long Branch, right on the river. We all take our canoes and float the river. It's a great trip! Um, maybe that's what I'll do for my birthday in Sept. Great idea!

Newbee here, we have site #57 for the 25th-27th, it should be fun meeting everyone. My wife and i have a 2006 23ft safari, our two labs will be joining us also. I forgot to ask, are dogs welcome?
Dogs are most certainly welcome. As are children, boats, canoes, etc. Sometimes I even borrow the kids to bring. But the dogs are mine! Glad to have you along. Where is Smith Lake, AL?

Hi Kathy, Smith lake is in northwest Alabama, It has 500 miles of shoreline and it's the third cleanest lake in the country. You also have quite a few awesome lakes up in Tn too. My wife and i moved up from florida a year and a half ago, we are very glad we did. I'm happy the dogs can tag along, we don't go anywhere without them. lol
BTW, Becki asked me to check again and see if anyone ever got a recipe for the shrimp dish that was served at the pot luck at the Springstream. I had it over the grits that was in a serving bowl nest to it and it was really good...the best shrimp and grits I've ever had! Anybody reading this have the recipe?
