Kevin,

There are several motels in the area. There is one just outside very near the entrance. Just do an internet search of the area.

Good Luck,

Kevin

The hotel at the entrance is a Ramada.

There is a great motel 5 miles from the fairground in Young Harris. The motel is just inside the city on your right. Very clean and comfortable. I think it was around $40 to $50.00 per night. There is a restaurant right beside of it. It's a family owned. I think it is called Young Harris Motel. I'll try to find our receipt and post it here later.

We went to the Ramada and they wanted over $100.00 per night.

The hotel sounds like a good idea. Donald is on long term medication and not feeling up to pulling a trailer. Maybe we will be able to participate if we just stay near by. I really hate to miss Falluminum.

Hope you can make it, Kevin! You'll definitely be inspired to work on your wagons over the winter!

Thanks to all for the motel info, I'll call tomorrow. Jordan, that probably will help with the inspiration, but two other problems money and knowledge. make sure you let me know when you tackle your next floor project! Jim if you go get ready for lots of axle questions.

You left out one thing, money, knowledge and TIME! Everything takes longer than you expect (at least for me) and spare time is something I'm always short of. Keep in mind I'm not an axle expert, but I did figure out how to change mine with a lot of help from a fellow forum member.

Trailers for sale or rent, rooms for only 15 cents...

If it would help, I'd be happy to help set up once you arrived but I don't know if that would help that much. The Ramada, right at the entrance of the campground has a nice view and is walking distance from all activities. section A is actually right behind the Ramada. Seems like that would be an easy trip doing it that way.

Hope to see you guys there and hey to you and Donald.

Thanks, G
