Okay on paper goods.
Rumor has it there's a cocktail hour planned. I have cheese direct from our trip to Wisconsin. Will bring a cheese & landjager sausage tray for that. Plus, I also have a few adult beverages I'd like to clear out of the "trella" (free to good homes of for consumption at the cocktail hour. Girly fruity stuff...LOL!
Can't wait!

Airstream's almost ready to pull out. Just have to add some food and the raffle item. Some nice hot chocolate, jiffy pop and s'mores. It ain't camping without s'mores!
We'll have some friends joining us from Maryland, so there will be nine of us in the Airstream. 3 adults, 3 kids and 3 dogs. I think we'll stay warm! Gotta love it!

It sounds like some friends of ours and their dogs will be joining us as well. It will be 4 adults, 5 dogs and a cat. I think we will be nice and cozy too.

Somebody is there already, but no pictures have been shared!
Here are a couple of pictures I took on my way to work this morning between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Since I commute 30 minutes each way, this is the kind of scenery I enjoy and wish that everyone that has to commute could have it so nice. Traffic was bad, I probably had to pass three cars!
You can certainly tell it's autumn, but colors are not full here yet. I don't know about further in the mountains. This weekend will probably be close to high color around here.

Two weeks ago we stayed up in Cherokee and drove the Blue Ridge Parkway. Leaves looked to be about a week short of peak peeping!
The other "silver sled" was captured by our leader out of Atlanta.

Right you are Phil.
But, in our defense, we have been off on the sidecar most days to see more of this beautiful countryside. Today we were at Brasstown Bald and the view was quite good. We could make out the tall buildings in Atlanta but there was some "smaze" in the air which made this a tad (technical term) difficult.
We hope to get to "The Dragon" tomorrow and that will be quite ambitious for us, given the distance.
Perhaps when we get all of the "tourist" stuff out of our system we will get our "Travelogue" page updated with picutres from our rides out this week. Goodness knows that the colors were spectacular from the top of the mountain this afternoon.
It is quite chilly in the morning and as a result we have been keeping our rides abbreviated because we have only gone out in the warm afternoons.
Regards,
Jim, who is looking forward to meeting everyone this weekend.

Headin out in a bit..........Just pulled out the ol Coleman 2 burner gas stove. It fired right up. So, pancakes, no matter what will be ready at 10 AM Saturday.
Am gonna be smokin a chicken for the potluck dinner Sat. PM. There is a bit of room if anybody has something else to smoke. Sausage, brisket, pork roast, another chicken or two.................Dont know if I will be able to find my favorite smokin tree up there so bringin some hickory from the woodpile.
HMMMM......sidecar rig......Norsea.....why don't we take a ride over here to the best part of the state, NW corner and pick up my R90 for a bit of a putt together. A couple of unknown roads put the so called "Dragon" to shame............
Anyway, see you guys over there............Alan, my sprit is full to the brim with the fullfilment of HIS promises and with HIS help fills my life with the overflowing blessings.............Thanks.............amen..... .....Dennis

Dennis, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to enlighten us as to all the good roads. We plan on being back in this part of the world in the next few years and are looking forward ot exploring all of the "good" places to ride.
Too bad your not able to bring the bike along.
Looking forward to putting a face with the name in the next day or so...
Jim

We are packed and ready. Too bad we have to wait until Friday to get there. TJ and Terry will be there tonight with their SOB's. TJ is in site F-2 and Terry is in E-4. TJ doesn't know it yet, but I've got some Airstream lights to put on his "wannabe"!!!!!
Having a hard time working, but they do expect something out of me today! See everyone Friday!

We have the hot chocolate machine and cocoa for the kids, pumpkin spiced coffee for adults, and a few dozen eggs for the griddle Sat. morn.
My new awnings are on and they actually match now. No more green and red!
also got around to redoing the bathroom floor, next is the living & bedroom floors. Those will not be ready for Prime time until Springstream..
Maybe new living room curtains too if Shannon is motivated .
