Hope its late in the month and up in elevation! We will be on our way back from Bozeman until the 14th.

Mt. Pisgah on the Blue Ridge Pkwy is fantastic in the summer. Its at 5,000 feet and no AC is needed in July. No power or water, just dry camping. Anyplace in Tennessee that would be up above the heat line?

Hey,
After watching about 500 times...that is so COOL !
Just cannot put into words how great y'all did.
Makes all those hours of work repay double rewards.
I did not understand your first contact, plus at work links don't always work.
Just smiling ear to ear...great background sounds...is that the band up under the pavilion playing?

Remember...y'all have a spot with full hook ups in Alabama.
Next race is October 5th.

How was Cherokee ?

Ted...........I really have to apologize to you and Amerrycan about this time delay...........Cherokee was right on a very flowing creek with MANY fish in it..........After many valiant deaths of water craving night crawlers and meal worms we caught naught............Cold, snow, and peace, several days later, took us to a really great RV type campground just North of Murphy.........Here we were able to escape from the solitude of the forest and get a whole lot of editing caught up on...............This happily, lasted several days and then we got to come back home to the farm where all was green and serene..............

Since then, have been totally buried with LOTS of catch up chores and new video work............LEAVE US ALONE...............Why can't we just say NO............lololol........ol 12 stepper here who to drugs, alcohol, and wild women has historically found it impossible to avoid that little "N" word.........

We are supposed to head west towards Abilene and then north up the continental divide later this month............That is after we shoot a graduation at a local high school go on the road to Jacksonville and do a training video for the National Guard Air Station.................

So, to make a very long story short.............sorry for the delay; but it will be at least a couple of days to get y'alls DVDs and files of the finished video to you...........Longing for the serenity of the high country with no cells, tv, internet, or paying clients calling wanting to do even more work................

My coffee has obviously kicked in on this long winded "catch up" and surely didnt intend to kidnap the thread.............God Bless..........Dennis

Thanks Dennis for the video, it was fun meeting you guys. Maybe my son's Air national Guard Unit will use you sometime.
Also I know a college kid majoring in video production at GA State if you need a future helper.

as for a July get together....someone suggest a site we might get into on the weekend....maybe near Chattanooga??

South

Anyone been to this campground?
Holiday Campground West Point, GA
Is in the opposite direction, south west Georgia.
Lots of water and large sites.
May take a drive to check out, and another close one in Alabama called Wind Creek.
Have not camped in either one, just sound interesting.

I just posted (unrelated) about a campground near Columbus, GA. Place called Blanton Creek Park - owned by GA Power. This would be an awesome place for a rally - boat ramps for the FC and kayaks - really pristine. Maybe a 20 minute ride to our log cabin on back roads. This place (706-643-7737) is primo, although totally off the beaten path!

Klattu, I've never been to either the campground or the lake @ West Point, but I have been told there are a lot of submerged stumps in Lake West Point so be careful with your feathercraft if you take it. I have also heard that Lake West Point is goof for fishing, though.

Sounds like a great place for Fall or Winter. How far from FDR?

Warm in July?

Not sure if I'm answering the right question, but Blanton Creek is roughly 30 minutes from FDR.
