Reading tru the thread brings Cathy and myself recalling the great weekend we had at '07 Springstream with some of you folks.

But the distance is just too much from NY for such a trip.

Hope to see some of you at the Can Opener

When things settle down a bit I will post pictures.

I do have a 1-minute video (very poor quality, but video/audio nonetheless) of our entertainers doing the "Georgia sattelite thang." If I have your permission (from our musicians). I will post it to you tube and provide you a link (and put it on my blog). Who knows, maybe ya'll will be discovered!

For those of you lurking or reading and have never been to an Air Forums rally, GO! They are tons of fun... Like camping with family (the cool family members!) food, fun and fellowship... oh, and lots of cool trailers!
Hey, it was fun!

I assume that you mean our cover of the song "Keep Your Hands to Yourself" by the Georgia Satellites.

As one of the "musicians", I would love to suffer, I mean share our "output". It was played with fun in mind!

Besides, I would like to hear it anyway. Thanks for the opportunity, and glad you could make it to the rally.

Thanks Brad! I forgot my tripod, too! Next time I'll have it. That way I can do some night shots of more trailers. I had to rely on stumps this time. ha!

Speaking of pics, here's a pic Denis took of Alan on the way home. We had a little 3 trailer convoy! We gotta get you a low profile AC unit, A! Then you'd be a full 3 feet shorter than that big thing to your left. :-)

Sue and I (and the three dogs) had a great time there. Friday night campfire was fun, the Saturday brunch was great, the pot luck dinner was wonderful, and I enjoyed playing in the Not-A-Band-Band.

Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the Humane Society Thrift shop before 2pm Sat (when they closed), and didn't realize until driving all over the place that Khalua wasn't sold anywhere in Hiawassee (no liquor stores at all). We did go to the Thrift shop Monday though.

Here are a couple pics from our trip (I didn't take many).

I am looking forward to hearing/seeing the video of the Not-A-Band-Band, and some pics from the youngest photographer there (lots of pics onf our little puppy were taken).

Hey All............Finally home and can spend a moment to actually read this thread and relive the moments...........Right after we got home on Sunday we got notification that we had to go down to Moultrie to shoot a piece for Case tractor........Found out that the way to get through Atlanta is at 4:30 in the morning.......70 mph from Kenneswaw to 675...........

Yes, Susan and I had a great time. Seems that the "real" people attend this event and are so very easy to be with, share with, and be one with. Very little ostentatious/pretentiousness that I am really thankful for........

Gotta thank:
Ruth and Gevin for donating the Airstream trailer tree ornament that will end up attached to the smallish shelf above the Radio in the "living room".

Miss Sugarfoot for those great taters and Thai rolls.......specially liked your cooking gear, camera work, and just being YOU

ALL who opened their units up for the walkthrough.........This turned out to be ONE, way to many to enumerate, but ONE of my favorite things about this event. Nothing was a "favorite"; but to be able to see the unique character of each family's "home" on wheels, the work put into them to make them that way, and the love for this lifestyle so easily shared and given makes me get goosebumps even now...........

Anyway..............Thanks to all for being who you are and so thankful we ALL got there and seemingly made it down the road afterwards.............

God Bless............Dennis

Photos of Falluminum '08 that Ruth took

Hey all,

Below is a link to photos that Ruth took of the event. She did a great job on the photos and of getting folks with their camper when they were around. We did the captions late one night and neither of us are great with names. If you see a photo of yourself without a name, send it to me and I'll add it. Same goes if you see a spelling error of your name. It would probably help others too.

It goes without saying that we had a great time! Dennis said it best when he said it was hard to pick a favorite part. We enjoyed all the food but mostly the fellowship. Seeing everyone's craftsmanship and how everyone helps each other out is great. Thanks again Jordan, Michael and Jason for letting me hang out at the 24/7 RAGING campfires!

G-Man
