So who wound up with the "How to Back A Trailer" book? That's one I was really hoping to be there to win, darn-it.
That was Mbmbstreamer. Maybe you can cut a deal with him.

If it's OK to do it again? Of course it's OK! In fact, now it's mandatory. It was great to meet you folks and all the new friends that attended. And great to see old friends again too.
I will be getting rid of the TV antenna, putting on some metal vent covers, and getting more vintage as time goes on. Backdating the 80!!

Sue and I (and the three dogs) had a great time there. Friday night campfire was fun, the Saturday brunch was great, the pot luck dinner was wonderful, and I enjoyed playing in the Not-A-Band-Band.
Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the Humane Society Thrift shop before 2pm Sat (when they closed), and didn't realize until driving all over the place that Khalua wasn't sold anywhere in Hiawassee (no liquor stores at all). We did go to the Thrift shop Monday though.
Here are a couple pics from our trip (I didn't take many).
I am looking forward to hearing/seeing the video of the Not-A-Band-Band, and some pics from the youngest photographer there (lots of pics onf our little puppy were taken).

Hey All............Finally home and can spend a moment to actually read this thread and relive the moments...........Right after we got home on Sunday we got notification that we had to go down to Moultrie to shoot a piece for Case tractor........Found out that the way to get through Atlanta is at 4:30 in the morning.......70 mph from Kenneswaw to 675...........
Yes, Susan and I had a great time. Seems that the "real" people attend this event and are so very easy to be with, share with, and be one with. Very little ostentatious/pretentiousness that I am really thankful for........
Gotta thank:
Ruth and Gevin for donating the Airstream trailer tree ornament that will end up attached to the smallish shelf above the Radio in the "living room".
Miss Sugarfoot for those great taters and Thai rolls.......specially liked your cooking gear, camera work, and just being YOU
ALL who opened their units up for the walkthrough.........This turned out to be ONE, way to many to enumerate, but ONE of my favorite things about this event. Nothing was a "favorite"; but to be able to see the unique character of each family's "home" on wheels, the work put into them to make them that way, and the love for this lifestyle so easily shared and given makes me get goosebumps even now...........
Anyway..............Thanks to all for being who you are and so thankful we ALL got there and seemingly made it down the road afterwards.............
God Bless............Dennis

Franny and me want say thanks to all for making us feel welcome. We enjoyed sharing brunch and dinner and the great music!!! With her physical limitations we weren't able to make the tour of Airstreams, but we still had a great time. As we continue our trip we hope to bump into more people like you all.
I am going to open a Springstream Thread for the date discussion.
I'll be looking for the thread, for those that I got to see it was great and for those I didn't...I look forward to the Spring. After a long day at work I called Tammy and said it looks like we had a good day here, be home in 2 hrs...but wouldn't it be great to drive over tonight and surprise our gang? HAHAAHA....She said....OK. I almost fell over. When I got home she had bags packed, hotel booked...I loaded a cooler from PCC headquaters stock and 2 hrs later we were around the fire! No AS in tow, but its all about our buddies, friends and families after all!

Great to meet you and Franny ..... hope to hear more about your travels and see you again, if you are ever close to Athens, Ga look us up. Good luck to you both. It was our first rally too and I am blown away by the incredible people that we met, I can't wait to get to know everyone better.
Hey all! It has been a busy week but I wanted to post a link to some of the photos Kelly took on Saturday night. Please feel free to use these as you like. I am also posting some of the photos taken by Marie Hackney. She worked hard and did a wonderful job on capturing some of our trailers. Good coverage and a great eye!

Mario, thanks for posting/sharing your photos, and also for Marie's photos. It took a day for me to figure out how to get to hers, but I then shared them with Sue.
Great shots, fun memories.
Thanks, Mario, Kelly and Marie!

Great photos Mario! But I have to say Marie's shots were really awesome! Hey folks, just so you don't miss them...to get to the shots Marie took, go to Mario's link, then click on MY GALLERY on the top left, then on Marie Hackney's Falluminum. She did a great job. Hard to pick a favorite, there were so many.
