Come on by. It's a great group, and a great campground! Let me know what spot you get and I'll put you on the map.

I've got a trailer barn in progress, too! 30X40, plus a side shed. The slab's down, and I think I've already mentally filled the barn. :S

OK we got a camp site it's E-3, look forward to meeting you guys. Alan I actually met you because I called and looked at your beautiful Airstream Motor Home when you decided to sell, but I was looking at a new 05 which we have now at the same time, if I remember I actually voted for the motorhome but I think my wife has 2 votes so we got the trailer. We are trying to make it more of a personal trailer, we are leaving first week of October for Maine for 2-3 weeks. Well we will see you in November.

JP.....golly sakes it is only August and the place is almost full.....Am wondering if we can sublet the side yard when folks get deserate in October.
Wrote a very long reply to you about your barn. Someway it didnt go through and got deleted. Is this happening to others?.......anyway.........copy and paste works.....
I built my barn a bit larger than what you are considering a few years ago. You can never build a barn to big. Currently sitting under protection from acorns, branches, hail, rain, etc is of course the Excella, tractor, 250, Pilot, 100 bales of hay, lawn tractor with trailer, pressure washer, EU3000, and R90/6 when it isnt hidden where it belongs. Anyway, you are close enough to at least talk about construction techniques with you.
Are you gonna stick build or pole barn, what clearance?..........Mine is a 12' to the bottom of the trusses. The only problem there is the long ladder and reach to get up there to stash stuff in the rafters.
HMMMMMMM.......there are enough of us within an hour of so of you........any volunteers to help JP in one day to get this baby up????.................Dennis

I could be pursuaded with BBQ sauce except first weekend on October. I have to go watch Kentucky beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

In retrospect, I think JP is out of luck. I don't know if we can fit in construction with an already grueling schedule of beer, BBQ, high school football, band competitions, college football tailgating, Matt Ryan and the new Falcons football, the end of the baseball season schedule...
How's January sound?

Barn!
ha! Well, ONE day I'll get this thing built. It's going to be a metal building. We have way too many carpenter bees around here! The style is a gambrel roof with 2 dormer windows per side. I'll try to post some pics of it tomorrow, if you're really interested.
THe delays from the building supplier has been ridiculous. If anyone is interested in who NOT to go with, I can tell ya!

JP/DK I'm in...I did a 12' ceiling height too. 40 x 45' gives me plenty of shop space behind the Spartan, AS, Airfloat, and Mobile Sportsman...yep they fill up way fast! And this is why you need a Spartan

Yes... I recall meeting you... The motorhome was hard to part with, but it was a good decision for us. We enjoy the trailer a lot too.
Looking forward to seeing you again. Have a great trip in the meantime.
