A great weekend, over too soon. Looking forward to April 10...The Antsy McLain set was the highlight for sure.
Thanks to all the chili makers, table bringers, and for all the great fellowship.

Yep, it was a great weekend!

For those who are staying one more night at the campground, and at the risk of too much Antsy (is that possible?), anyone interested in watching a Troubadours DVD tonight?

Our TV is 19" - anyone have something with a larger screen?

Thanks to the Kaes family for the music and P.A. set up. Thanks Phil for playing and Brad for the drumming and drums. Also Brad & Karen for THOR which was great outside the Pavillion, it made a terrific gathering spot for a lot of after dinner conversations.

Special thanks again to Lucius and Danielle for making the ANTSY show happen. Persistence was rewarded.

This kind of fellowship and relaxed fun is why we started doing these Rallys quite a few years ago.
You all, that were there, contributed to making it what it was.

Thanks to Alan and everyone else that make these get togethers possibly. Wonderful party night of fellowship, food and outstanding entertainment. Including an over the top performance by Antsy and his son.

Thanks to all, we had a blast. However, it's very quite here tonight.
Did anyone leave a very nice pot, filled with chili, in the pavilion? It's been rescused and we'll hold it for you. Also misc chili dippers, pot holders & a black hoodie.

I think the pot that had chili in it belongs to Future Craig. He will be there a few more days and I think he moved to site A31. Nice guy, his first rally.

Thanks, G

Had a (another) great weekend rally in the north Georgia Mountains, with some interesting campers, characters and special guest Antsy McClain!

Thanks (again!) to Alan and Shannon!

Alan and Shannon, thanks to you and everyone who contributed to the spectacular weekend! Weekends like this go down in the memory banks as the best of the best in Airstreaming.

Unrelated, I also had a bad experience dealing with the woman who was in the office on Sunday. When I arrived last Wednesday, I paid the full weekly rate to be in Area 1 with the understanding that when people left on Sunday, I could move to Area 2 to finish my week. I anticipated paying a little extra for my last 3 days with a sewer connection. After I moved, I was informed by the Sunday office woman, that by moving to a new campsite I lost my weekly rate in Area 1 and owed them another $96.00 to finish my 7 days in Area 2. When I offered to pay the full weekly rate they charge for Area 2 (which was less then her demand) she refused to do that because I wasn't in Area 2 for a full week and that my time spent in Area 1 wouldn't count toward a full week. She decided to get curt rather then to preserve customer relations, so I'm out of here. And that my friends is called "voting with your wheels".

Kudos to everyone

Many thanks have gone out & many should...thanks to ALL for a wonderful weekend...
THANKS for:
-the wonderful prep and planning
-the wonderful food
-everyone that drove from a long distance
-Antsy's performance
-A sincere thank you again to Lucius & Danielle…as we understand how much effort you put into getting Antsy their, making his stay comfortable……driving two rigs up there for guest house, etc.
-all the musicians "all ages" for all their extra work in bringing/setting up equipment, extra efforts made for Antsy, etc. Even though your sets were shorter than previous, all of you were performing at the top of your game!
-Jonathan (Chillpoints), for his gracious help
-the very mannered kids and teens we met and encountered.
-the help those same kids/teens gave me when getting ready to leave. Some teens can fold an awning as good as play the violin! (I found the Alumulina video!)
-For the wonderful breakfast prepared by friends Sunday morning.
-For the loaned, ready to plugin, perculator supplied by same friends when we left a part of ours.
-For the great neighbors we had....(yes, even you, pool boy!)
-Most of all for ALL the wonderful people that make this event what it is.

G & Ruthie

PS....sorry to hear some folks had issues with the campground. We've been camping there several times a year for about 8 years and have never had an issue. We've always found Harry, the security guy, to be a kindly & accomodating gentleman. In any case, sorry some folks had trouble.
