We bought our trailer in March and Jim has been working on it all summer and even tho it's not "done", we're coming. Because we decided late, all the close spots were taken so we are in Area I, Spot #5. But we'll find you, there must be a lot of light reflecting off 40 Airstreams.
Come on over! Don't forget to bring your sunglasses! LOL

We are going to see if we can score a site at this late date, if so we will see you up there, it's been awhile since we have camped anywhere. Maybe we will get lucky and one will be available.

Alan,
Good advice on not buying anything else no doubt! I've sold 5 vehicles in the past 18 months. Moving in the right direction anyway. Next, I'm selling the Harley and a real nice, ready to camp in, '69 Coleman CT-390. It was the one that Rob (Rob & Katie) previously restored.
The Caravel usually isn't very dirty as it stays inside but it's a different story this time. It's been sitting out for three months, hasn't been washed or anything.
The car buyer is supposed to be coming Monday or Tuesday so we should make it camping. I have the wagon partially taken apart for repairs I haven't finished and camper is trashed but it is what it is.
We look forward to coming, thanks to all for each of your contributions in making this a great get-together.

HA! Good advice! Although, I don't want everyone at the campground seeing me crying when it goes. I've had this one since 1999, I doubt that it's in the cards for me to own a car this nice again.

An Airstream that isn't finished...say it isn't so....if anyone here has a "finished Airstream", let them cast the first stone, it shall not be I! One of our dear friends that will be here commented on our trailer last time "you've been saying you were going to fix that since we've known you". I wish I could have defended the statement but unfortunately I couldn't!

Until then we're looking forward to seeing lots of friends (and soon to be friends) at Falluminum. I think Springstream and Falluminum are two of the longest running rallies on Air Forums. Kudos to Alan and Shannon and a host of others for making these rallies such long standing events.

No doubt, kudos to you guys. Wally was big into being a "goodwill ambassador" so I'm sure he would be proud! I only learned about D & L's adventures last year and also found it very interesting. I can imagine if more people started doing this...people would start to relate seeing Airstreams en route as being on the way to do some goodwill. I hope that in the near future we can get in a position to get involved.
Kudos again for being good Airstream Ambassadors!

Thank you for the kind words regarding our volunteer efforts. Danielle and I are looking for ways for Airstreamers to become involved with one of our favorite organizations - Habitat for Humanity. If you want to follow that topic and invest some time and energy with us you can see more at the following link:

The WWP Atlanta group of wounded warrior alumni works HH builds multiple times a year, too. Our last was in ATL and had the benefit of getting us bonded as a team.

On a Falluminum note, my wife is having to work late downtown, therefore we will not hit the road until 1700. Is it ok to be a little late, or should we wait till Saturday AM? Both of us are so stoked to meet new friends and participate, but do not want to be too late.

Thanks,

Lance
