Alan, we will be on site A-35. We will bring 2 large coffee pots and fixings. We look forward to the gathering and appreciate all your hard work in planning the event.

No need to join anything. Just call the campground and reserve a site. I'll try to give you a call over the weekend.

Because we were on the road for a month I was tardy in trying to make reservations, my fault. I have the greatest respect for what Alan has done. Unfortunately, the sites on the hill make it extremely difficult for me to get around. Call me grumpy if you wish, but I was forced to make other plans. I'll be there in the spring if at all possible. Have a great time with friendly people.

OOOPS!! This was in no way directed at you guys, please accept my humble apologies. I'll PM you in a few. We have issues with knees and can't negotiate that hill easily, either, any longer. Must use the pick-up to get up there these days. We were also tardy making reservations because of my work schedule and "The Hill" was all that was left.

Again, sorry, no offence intended.

I'm hoping Paddle Whisp can bring their camper. It's an Argosy that they are having painted that "Cadillac White Pearl" color. I haven't seen it yet, but suspect it'll be spectacular when finished (they live near us and ran into each other by accident here on the forums).

Morning Glory! I've just made reservations for 10/ 23&24. Is anyone going in on Thursday, 10/22?
Area 2 is full, except for 1 difficult site to get into. I have reserved Area 1 site 30... No sewer hookup. But has a dump station.
They said this is a good site to launch a kayak from... WooHoo!

Danielle and I are planning to be there on Thursday - probably arriving early afternoon. We considered finding some waterfalls or another hiking/walking activity on Thursday or for Friday morning.

We've stayed in Area 1 before - I think it's the original campground before Area 2 was developed. Others rally participants have stayed in Area 1 when Area 2 is full. It's a long walk, driving back and forth may be better. I have seen people use bicycles to get back and forth.

Saturday morning shared brunch about 9:30 am
Tour of homes 12 noonish
Shared dinner Sat at 5:30ish..
Bring a gift get a gift after dinner with music jam if any musicians are coming..Otherwise it will be me and my guitar

Karen and I will be there all week in F4. Karen just retired on the 3rd of Sept., so now we have a very liberal leave policy!

We can go and come as we please! We just returned from two weeks in Pigeon Forge yesterday and are ready for ALLEN's camp out next. We will be at our campsite from the 18th to the 25th. We will be out most mornings until Friday. We are looking forward to meeting everyone!

We were so looking forward to this gathering but have ended up selling our house and we will be moving in October. We have site A37. Wanted to give you all a heads up in case someone wants it. I'll wait a few days before I cancel. Maybe we'll get there this spring.
