Hoping predicted low of 37 tonight will finalize leaf color change but would like it to warm up after, not used to this much cool air, unless it is winter. LOL

Lots of color here, temperature is about perfect, I think this weekend will possibly be the peak. Five Airstreams here so far, three trailers and two MOHOs. It's time to party!

We are here now in 23/25. It's a beautiful day, and a great campground. Going for a walk-about now.

We are here now in B13

What a beautiful afternoon. Will we be gathering at the pavilion later?

The A section is rocking

Full moon, illegal camp fire, great weather...
Even having Bad Brad for a neighbor isn't diminishing the Lake Chatuge experience.

Looking forward to seeing everyone for 10 am breakfast.

We have had a great time at the rally. I made peachy Camp Dutch Oven french toast for breakfast and bread pudding with whiskey sauce for the evening meal.

Sorry sugarfoot but I found a great bread pudding recipe and you wasn't here. Regina liked it so much I told here if you didn't show up I would make it.

Don Williams was canceled so we stayed and listened to the no name band. For only playing together twice a year the are really GOOD [as always]. A lot of vintage trailers here this weekend.

Thanks Allen you and Shannon do put together a great rally. We hope everyone has a safe trip home.

See ya all at the Can Opener.

Jim & Regina

An awesome weekend!! Perfect weather, fall colors and loads of happy campers.
We missed a few of our regulars: Sugarfoot, Investysly, Cold Espresso and others, but made new friends also.
Loved the SC contigent with their Spartans, Yellowstone and other cool oldies.
I learned a lot about my new to us 66 and hope to be able to move forward with more confidence in getting things done.
Thanks all.......see ya April 8 weekend...

As soon as I unloaded I started playing with the lights. Phil suggested something that was right on. I had actually connected the new taillights...wrong, and they worked as long as the trailer was not hitched.
Following his idea, I disconnected the ground and reconnected it to the trailer, and now all the lights work. THANKS PHIL ....and everyone else who suggested a false ground.
My new 7 pin connector works too, except for the brake controller which I will check out.
But the big deal is now having brake and tailights.
I am posting photos to my Picasa album and will share the link.

Howdy Alan. Glad I could be helpful.

We got home OK, but my clutch is slipping. In 4th gear, going up a hill, the engine started racing, so I had to baby the throttle the whole way home. 132,000 miles and it needs a clutch already!

We had fun at the rally, but we want to camp on more level ground! Walking anywhere was too much work. I think I'll call tomorrow for April 8 to get a site down there by the pavilion.

I didn't take too many pictures, but got out this morning and took some. Here are several taken on a tripod before the sun came up.

Phil
