Please put us down for an Eclair Cake on Saturday. Also, if there are any beer drinkers, I will be bringing my "portable draft system" with a homebrew and a beer from one of our local breweries on tap for Friday and Saturday.

It's been a nice and quiet night here at the north campground of Compton ridge. For anyone whi missed my previous post, you should stop at the north park to pick a spot and drop your trailer before heading to south for paperwork. We currently have 6 trailers here with ine more expected tonight.
Currently enjoying the propane fire dancer at our spot.

Twinkiemand finally arrived around 23:45 and we got them settled in. Falling acorns are everywhere. One hit my roof and work me up it was so loud.
I haven't been able to locate my coax cable for tv so Collin is clamoring about not having something to watch.
The morning fog is nice and erie. I have been posting pictures in the Airstream Adventurers facebook page for those who use social media.

Rolled out yesterday morning a little later than planned & had a few raindrops - just enough to wash off the dust. Got hooked up about 5:00 - went to grab a bite to eat & some groceries - had a nice visit with Steve around his "FireDancer". It has been three years since we camped together, so we had some catching up to do. Think about 6 of us arrive Thursday. This is going to be a great weekend for Airstreming!

We just aren't able to get Collin and everything together by then, but we will be over there hopefully by 745 to 800.

WOW! What an evening with Airstreamers & Kindred Folks. Too much good food as always & I hope the new Airstreamers attending their first rally will come back for many more. Good time was had by all!
PS We missed all you "old timers" who had conflicts. It has been a great weekend of camping.

Yes great food!!! Everyone was missed bit it was nice to meet faces.
Some asked for the recipe for the "sausage stars" so here you
Sausage Stars
1 lb sausage I use spicy
2 1/2 cups shredded Monterrey jack/cheddar cheese
1cup prepared ranch dressing out of the bottle
1 small can black olives chopped or sliced, drained. (I did not have these in mine because I do not like olives)
Red pepper flakes to taste (note once it cools off it is hotter)
1 package I. Wonton wrappers, small in the tofu section of the grocery store
Press wontons in a muffin tin and cook for 5 minted at 350 degrees. Take out of tin and set aside. Brown sausage and drain fat. Combine sausage, cheese ranch, olives and red pepper flakes and stir well. Fill each wonton cup and then reheat for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. You can make the filling up to a day in advance then fill cups when you are ready to serve.
