Why don't you take a drive to the midlands and join us?

I will bring my campfire cooking stuff for the fall trip, was too hot for the June trip. We normally do all of our breakfast cooking on the discada when we camp.

Love it!

That pot looks the perfect size for soup or chili for a crowd, too, and you have a tow vehicle to haul it in, as well.

There are a number of accomplished Dutch Oven-ers at this rally, and this would be the perfect time of year to do some bread, cornbread, etc., to go with whatever we put in your big pot.

Last year it was quite chilly, and we kept a fire going the entire weekend.

I have one, too.

The question for me is, will I get home from my trip West before this rally...

I am booked in on Wednesday til Sunday, figuring I will come directly there on my way home....unless it has become so cold I have to go by the house for warm clothing.

We'll see...I guess we have plenty of time.

Fall Rally -

It's always something. We're planning to be at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Once a year they offer tours of the Century of Progress homes, and it's that weekend. We don't have tickets yet (it sells out), so we now have a back up plan!
