Early New England camping

Anyone up for early New England camping? If so, Pam, Elaine and I have made our reservations for an informal weekend of camping in RI at Oak Embers Campground for two nights (May 6 and 7). If interested, contact the campground to make reservations:

Oak Embers Family Campground
W. Greenwich, RI

Oh MAN! We're thinking of heading in the other direction to Danforth Bay, Freedom NH. Have a great time down there!

Danforth Bay is a really nice campground. The New England Unit held their September rally at that location last year.

Did you still go with the rainy weather?

I'm always up for a weekend in the 'Gray Lady' but don't always check the forums so I didn't see this until now. You could pm or you have my email if you plan to go again. Did you end up going? The weather was awful, we had winds gusting over 60 mph here on the Cape, it would have been a tough weekend for camping. We had to pick up our daughter at the train station in Providence so we couldn't have made it anyway. Keep us in mind we would love to go on a quick weekend. Look forward to seeing you at Salisbury State Park. I made Belgium waffles this morning, practicing for my breakfast duties.

We go camping and have fun rain or shine! We had a blast! Pam has the mega motor home so there was plenty of room for group meals and get togethers. During the day, we took day trips into Newport, RI and played tourist.

Yukionna,

The weekend was certainly fun. Much needed vacation. Thank you Pam for the spacious motorhome for us all to hang out in. Look forward to the Spring Rally. Hitting the cookbooks now!
