If the axle man doesn't get a move on I may have to put mine on a flat bed  . One month and counting, no time to waste.

We are in DC Ho Ray! Next Stop on the trip Cincy then KY Rally I Day 2 on trip and raining and the roof is leaking!  No other problems yet) We Will be there! Soon

They should have arrived this afternoon. I'm going to call in the morning and probably pick them up on Saturday. It doesn't look like we will be able to get to the camper to install until the first week of April. The camper is in Mt. Vernon and we are almost 2 hours away. This is really going to put us on a tight schedule to be ready by the 16th.

Hour to take off and about 2-3 to reinstall...depending on the axle and the tools you have.

The axles have arrived! Looks like we will plan to install them this weekend. If all is correct it should not take more than half a day to install. We will have to weld new shock brackets on to the new axles and I've got to get new tires installed as well. I had a 6 hour continuing ed. class today, gave me just enough time to plan out all the projects before the rally  . A little grease, a little WD-40, a lot of ALE, sounds like a plan to me. Steve, drag it on out, we'll fix it!

Hey Digger, I hate to tell you this, but take my name off the potluck. I'll have to leave the rally early Saturday AM to make a meeting in Chattanooga that evening.
It sucks. Sometimes work just really gets in the way.

Have not been to a rally and the capsule is not ready for travel but we would like to attend. I have a friend whow owns a private campground in RedRiver Gorge close to Natural Bridge and we will tent camp there and come over to lurk around. You have to take a tour of the Gorge. It is one awesome place. They almost made a lake there in the 70's. I don't know if a large Airstream will fit through the NADA Tunnel so I would venture there after setting up. The visitor center in the gorge has maps and info for first timers. Can't wait......

getting ready.....pulled the old gal out of storage yesterday for the first time. She wintered underground in a climate controlled cave (no need to winterize). She looks great and we are anxious for the rally.......

OK, just changed my reservations to come in on Tuesday and leave Saturday AM. Wish I didn't have to miss the Saturday festivities. Hey, IkeT, guess that means YOU will have to make the bread pudding. I'll leave you some Jack Daniels for the sauce.
