Digger,
It looks like several of us will be arriving late on Thursday, so it might be better to hold off on the festivities until Friday. A potluck to meet and greet would be great for Friday night. 94tri is bringing his projector so maybe a movie Friday night (with smores of course). I'm not sure about Saturday but I sure would like to see some other streams since I've only seen 2 in the last 8 months.... No matter what just getting to spend some time with like minded individuals can only be great. I also like drag'nwagon's idea, cocktails, cocktails, cocktails!

It will likely be a two hour drive from Alumatube's to the rally for us, so expect us in the late morning (Right when your hangovers are ramping up).

That's close to how it is typically done in the Southeast as well...at least the ones we have attended. Friday is eat at a local eatery or on your own and set up camp as many come in after work. Saturday is show and tell and pot-luck with Sunday break camp and go home.
Since a lot of this crowd is coming in early and has a decent drive home, that may use some adjusting though. All depends on the crowd.

Sunday asprin, breakfast, breakcamp.
Just a thought, I wasn't trying to impose the northern way of thinking on anybody.

Updated Map
Here's an updated park map. We have a couple of spots that are reserved, but without names Please let us know if one is yours! If you want to remain private, then let me know that also (if you want), and I'll just drop a trailer on the site.
This is gonna be a sea of silver!

Digger, I'll probably be coming in on Wednesday too, possibly sooner if I don't have to return to Chattanooga after the CBR. I'll have to think yet on what to cook for potluck.

Just cook what you served at the Can Opener and all will be well.

Sign of the times.
I called a large local company that sales trailer parts in the area and has for many years. I was hoping they would consider sponsoring our Rally, maybe with enough funds to get some prizes, or some tshirts. When I spoke to one of the fellows there and mentioned my intent, he informed me the boss/owner had just laid off his own son. I couldn't believe he laid off his son instead of this other guy. Anyway, I got a firm "NO" not in the budget this year. So it doesn't look like we will be having corporate sponsors unless some of the banks have left over bail out money.

Hear hear Tim. I went back and looked at the Can Opener's potluck list and saw
"Bread Pudding with Jack Daniels Sauce". I didn't get to try it. If you can't
do the puddin', would you please bring the sauce?
Ah, thank you very much

shermantic -
If we all brought our own shirts - could you bring a small screen to the rally and pull them for us on site?
I can send you a hi-res EPS of the mark (one color) if you need to prep the screen in advance.
I did screening in a past life so I know the process...
I also know it can be a pain in the yhat-kha-bay to do it out of the studio.

I think someone should jump on this. I have no artistic ability, but I know someone must. Rally shirts are great for memories. I know Collin loves his Tye dye shirt from Detroit Metro Rally last year.
Does Natural bridge have an entrance that is memorable? Maybe a pic of An AS from behind going into the park. Maybe a picture of Kentucky with small airstreams moving towards Natural bridge from all directions?
Just ideas.
