Digger, I was looking at your latest listing and was looking at the "potluck"....I am not sure of what to put down for that.....I am from Southern Lousiana so not too sure what to cook that people would recoginze and eat....if anyone has any ideas that would be great.....this is my first rally so not too sure of what is usually done.

Well I would say I could boil up some crawfish but......they are very very small this year and are costing about $4.00 a pound. Sorry, don't do gatoe tail but i can do a pot of shrimp jambalya and maybe some chicken and sausage gumbo .....feed back from some of our rally goers if these foods would be wanted. thanks medic for the ideas

If anyone coming to this rally is interested I have an Airstream bunk that I am not using. It consists of an aluminum frame that folds in half for storage and has a white canvas fabric. I also have two cast aluminum wall brackets for the same. Unfortunately I don't have the cables and ceiling brackets.
Al
I would be happy to take those!!! Now that Rebekah is 3 yrs old it has been a struggle to fit them all in.
Well I'm the one that offered up the idea, so let me throw out a couple of suggested rules:
1. Digital only, unless you can get them developed & scanned before the showing!
2. Taken during the rally.
3. I'm planning on bringing equipment to project the images sometime after dinner till I go to bed or decide to play Wii. This is when voting by public opinion will take place. If we want maybe I can show at breakfast sunday also.
4. I'm thinking peoples choice in two categories: Nature & Human interest?
5. Prizes. Hmmm. How about a Bambi? Really haven't thought to much about it other than I'll get something nice for the winners!
Please note that as this is an airforums rally, no rules are allowed I think. I really don't think this should be cut-throat, formal, or life changing! I just thought it might be more fun than playing corn-hole all day.
Finally, PLEASE offer suggestions and ideas! I'm open for anything! Heck, this isn't even my rally. Sorry if I'm out of line!
Unless someone else has a better idea, I'll repeat this from a earlier post.
As for as Southern Cooking: I'm not paticular, just bring lots! I fell in love with the stuff when I was in New Orleans!

All right. It's pretty clear that I can't bring my trailer with me, so it's back to a tent for this one, but do still plan on attending. For those who live in Kentucky, how cold does it get there during the night so I can pack accordingly? I'm looking at bringing my wood burning stove/tent heater, but if I do, I have to bring along some wood, too
My next question is I still have site B025 reserved. Before I request to cancel it, I wanted to offer it up to someone here if they would like. I can change the reservation details online and worry about the $$ later.
As it sits now, I have campsite C001, right off the loop where everyone else will be. I'm kinda bummed that I can't bring the A/S, but I want to get it fixed right while I have it torn down.
Still looking forward to seeing everyone and if there's anything that I can bring, please let me know. I don't know what to expect or what I'm expected to bring.
Bryan, it can be any where from mid thirtys to low twenties....you kind of just never know....I will be travling with some really nice ceramic heaters....so if you are in need you can use one those.....we never go anywhere with out them....kids are always cold....for the weather here you kind of pack a little of everything...some really cold clothes to clothes for nothing but sun.
