Well I will have to be clued in on what traditional Kentucky food is.....so i will know what and more important how to prepare the food.

Mouth, traditional KY food is fried.....fried potatoes, fried apple pies, fried bologna, fried green tomatoes, etc.
Well, at the moment it looks like there are only 6 sites left. If they fill fairly quickly (by the end of the month) I may contact the park manager to see if he will open up some of the long term sites just for this rally.

I just wanted to invite anyone who is interested to join us for the Antsy McClain and the Trailer Park Troubadours concert that is on January 30th. We figured we needed to find something fun to do during this deep freeze. Anyhow the tickets are available at www.gcparts.org. We are also planning on meeting for dinner before the concert at the Haufbrauhous in the beer hall. Their website is www.hofbrauhausnewport.com. We are traveling 4 hours to get there and it is definately worth the drive!

Update: It looks like there are only 4 sites left at the Taylorsville campground. If you are interested better make those reservations quick!

Thanks for updating the map. If you know of anyone who has reserved a site but not registered on the calendar please encourage them to go ahead register. I noticed the sites reserved that are not registered are reserved for the same days (Thurs.-Sun) as our rally. This may be another camping group or extended family. I hope they like aluminum!

Well, it looks like there is only one regular spot left for the Rally. Unless we see more interest I do not plan to contact the manager to see if he will open up more long term parking sites. How about offering up suggestions for activities and schedules (remembering that this is a loose rally, nothing formal). It seems like Saturdays are meant for Potlucks and open houses. What other suggestions do you have? I will continue to post activities and attractions in the area. 2.5 months and counting!
PS. scf31, nothing like rows of aluminum to make the day a little brighter!
