Pancake/sausage breakfast
It won't be long now.
Concerning the pancake/sauage breakfast, we plan on doing that on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Right now we figure we'll do that on our site, Site 20, but when we arrive we'll decide for sure. We'll supply everthing; just bring your own beverage and chairs. Those who offered grills, we'll collect them Fri evening if that's all right?
It would help us out to know how many figure on coming so if you could copy/paste this msg and add to the number at the bottom (we just need a number, not names), we would appreciate it. Hope everyone has safe travels to the rally, see you there.
Cyndi & Gregg

Add 4 more for my crew. We have a waffle maker, griddle and will bring additional items batter, butter, syrup.
Danb, there are several local wineries that may allow some taste testing. (Couldn't find a drunk smilie face)

I know this is an airstream rally, but there is also the largest fireworks show in the USA on saturday with an air show from 3pm- 8:45pm prior to the fireworks. The fireworks last from 30-40 minutes without a break in the boom booms

For those going out to dinner on Thursday night, I spoke to the restaurant owner today. The restaurant is "The Family Diner" just down the road from the park entrance. He serves "home cooking" and a lot of fresh sea food. He is sending a menu tonight and I will try to post some of the items listed. I told him to expect around 20, so if there are any other takers please let me know. I also told him to expect us around 7:00pm. The clock is ticking.......

ARGH! So, I was rolling away on getting the old girl up and ready for camping - and am right on schedule for her to be ready...then one of my babies decided to be sick. Yeah. So, with sick kid - possibly more to come (you know how that goes) we are cancelling our first ever trip in our girl and to an AS Rally. Sad day here in our house... Hope everyone has fun and we'll try to meet up soon!
But on the lighter side - our camping site is now open for any late takers! :P

Heading over tomorrow

We're all cleaned up (including the AS), maintenance caught up, packed up and have our grandson in tow already so we're heading over tomorrow and hope to be set up by early afternoon. Our grandson wanted to go today. Even the dog seemed excited as she watched us pack. First trip of the season; always an adventure. Weather looks good for the rally and looking forward to meeting new friends and hearing the tall tales around the campfire. Hope everyone has safe/uneventful travels and we'll see everyone there.

It is official we are coming to our first rally! Woo Hoo!
I spoke with LuAnn (gregth) this evening (sounded very nice on the phone) and they will not be able to camp due to their son's illness. Must be a tough time for them right now. Its amazing this thread Discussion has disappeared from the radar. Due to our recent illness and also an ongoing illness,MaryLou has not been feeling well and will not be making her Great Potato Salad or Deviled Eggs.
We are at a loss as to what to bring if indeed we are even able to make it in by Friday. Things are still TOUCH and GO HERE.
Let us know what we could contribute.
Stay tuned for later Developments
Roger

Roger,

I'm pretty sure everyone would agree, don't sweat it! Although we will miss your cooking, it's more important not to wear yourself out!

Please just show up. More than enough food will be present.

See ya soon! Hope everyone feels better.

Roger-hope you can make it. Not to worry about food-we will have plenty.

Loudruff-no shade is an opportunity to put out the awning and flamingo lights.

We should be arriving in the early afternoon.
