Gonna have a great time in Dardenelle. Great place, up out of the heat of the valley, easy beautiful drive. It's a secret gem.

Looks like we will be late arriving, turns out I have a business trip that I can't get out of, so we will not arrive until Sunday the 9th now. Can't wait until this whole working for a living thing turns into retirement.

I'm not sure if the two airstreamers will still be at dardenelle when we finally get there. Well this was worth the try, too bad it didn't work out as I had hoped. Maybe next time

Aw bummer Zugbug .. was looking forward to meeting you! We probably won't leave super early on Sunday as we only live a couple of hours away ...maybe we'll get to connect before you leave! Are you going to the Jackson Rancheria event?

I totally feel your pain on the biz trip thing - I had back to back to back trips in July-- was not fun!

Ya wish it was different. Skip is in Taiwan right now. I think maybe one more trip overseas this year and then the one to Chicago. We will have only 3 trailer trips this year, compared to our usual 6+.

Dardenelle is a great place, your gonna like it alot.

So is this a party of two now? We want to see pictures.. extreme rally pictures.. every big rally starts out with just a few airstreams. Maybe next year we can join you. I think the place is beautiful.

Its nice to have a third rally option.. and summer time beats the rain possibility of the current rallys. Im in for next year. I will just put it in the planner.

I will set up for the weekend after Memorial Day as "usually" the park is near empty. With it being set so long in the future, hopefully we can take over the whole place

Friends of ours just spent a week up at Dardenelle, and the wasps are active.

I would strongly recommend that everyone pack one of those wasp traps, maybe two. This seems to happen every four years.

We just spent a week in Trinity and were very happy to have packed a trap with us there. Boy did we need it there.

Extreme pictures?!?!? Not likely. I can't get REALLY obnoxious if I don't have a big audience.
Nevertheless, we can plan for next year too. I'm sure it will be HOT in Fresno this time next year as well

Anyways, if Armegeddon comes, I'll be in my Airstream.

I just confirmed my reservation! Gosh, I cant wait to get out of the heat! Our 4 year old son will be staying home with the grandparents. This will be our first trip alone since he was born.
I plan to drink coffee or wine while reading...in between naps.
