Carl, I see you are set for tonight, but what about friday, saturday, and sunday? You have another cooler for those days? Google Maps says 2.5 hours from me to Frackville. I would imagine it will take every bit of that leaving at this hour of day.

Truck and trailer are united. All is packed and loaded. Wally's favorite beverage is in the liquor closet along with my Jim Beam and my wifes wine. Beer is iced down and so is the waters and the cokes. Reffer has been burning for a few hours now and already making ice. (I just read back... the refrigerator is burning, not the reffer). All I need now is my GPS to come home from work.

Got family in dhem woods. Cann't for the life of me imagine why you are going over the mountain unless you're visitin relatives at the top. Good Luck. If you are going 81 to 80 be careful coming back down the mountain on 80. See you tomorrow morning about 9ish. Can you get spots for all when you arrive?

I have the utmost confidence in Frank's powers of persuasion and the depth of Carl's cooler.

Showing up early helps too.

Bought a 30 pack of IceHouse (goin for quantity over quality) 4 Guinness Cans (it is my ritual to coat my stomach with one guinness at the outset of a drinking day). Two bottles of some local Bloody Mary mix. and one large bottle of a fine, yet inexpensive Polish potato vodka.

I have a couple of things to put in the trailer and then I'm hooking up. We expect to leave between 6 and 7 AM. We will hit mega traffic, but I'll just go with the slow flow.

Thumbs up We're Outta Here!

We got the call from Frank awhile ago and my wife and I are out the door to meet up with him in Frackville. The next time we will chat it will be face to face. So everybody out there stay safe, drive careful, and remember...KEEP THE SILVER SIDE UP. We'll see you all in New Jersey.

I just got back from spending the afternoon at Crawfish.

The good: half price tickets, jambalaya, Terrence Simien is always a hoot.

The bad: The Airstreams in the camping are were off limits to mere day ticket holders. But I did get to see the '64 Trade Wind being used as an office for the CD sales.

What a weekend!! Thanks to Frank and Don for convincing me to go. Thanks to Frank for cooking breakfast!! Thanks to Debra for being the bestest.

My photos to come. I just need to finish a drink and get some rest. Maybe tomorrow. I look forward to seeing everyone else's photos. All of mine include blood and stitches.

We met so many wonderful people. All my new friends rule!!

Airstream Fessheads unite! It was fun meeting y'all this past weekend. I am sorry I was not able to be more involved with the Rally. Hopefully next year I am in a position to hire a staff and just sit back and party with y'all...yeah right.

Happy Hour on Sat was the weekend highlight for me. Thanks for showing up and hanging in the back stage area with us! Many thanks to Don for supplying the Hurricane party ball? It was the real deal -- yeah yo right!

These weekends come and go too fast. Hope our paths cross again this summer.

Thank you so much for the back stage passes. We enjoyed meeting you and Jane. We had a great time and look forward to seeing you both again.

Finally Caught Up

Well I see that with the problems the forum administrators have been having that some of your posts and pictures have been lost. Such is life in the high tech world of I.T. I hope I did not miss any posts before they were lost.

I finally got caught up on all my household chores and booted up the old computer for the first time since we left on Thursday for the rally. I am now getting caught up on e-mails and forum readings. I have my two Pine Leaf Boys CDs rocking the house trying to recapture some of the fun and fellowship we experienced over the weekend.

We were enjoying ourselves so much over the weekend that we plum forgot to take any pictures so all we have is one picture of me eating a crawfish taken with my wife's cell phone.

We really enjoyed getting meet each and every one of you and hope to see you all really soon. Just think, it's less than a year until Crawfish Fest 2010...Frank and Don, is it too early to start a thread for it???????

As Don so succinctly puts it...

Laissez bon temps roulez!
