So does anyone have any suggestions where to boondock Thursday night?? We are thinking of getting a jump on things so we'll be there when the gates open @ 10 plus I don't want to fight traffic.

I can find room for enduroryda, bigdorkball, and Over59 down here.
I'm about 2 hours away.
(Over59, just hire a chauffeur for after your tupperware party. )
My only requirement is that I get there before 62overlander so I can hand him a red cuppa something when he arrives.

Ruby4980, you're invited too!
Anyone can come earlier if they like too.
Cuz in 5 minutes, I'm off from work until after the Crawfish Fest!
We'll be heading out early Friday. It's 200miles / 3.5 Hours. I expect we will miss all of the traffic going 84 and swinging south around Hartford. 5:30am gets us there around 9am.
We'll be eating lots of concession food but bringing stuff for making apps.
Folks, do not worry about your breakfast unless you do not like pancakes, eggs to order, potatoes, sausage, bacon, and a Maryland specialty, scrapple.
If you are a oatmeal person you are on your own. I will also bring bloody makings too. If someone wants mimosas, bring the Champagne and I will have the o.j. coffee is coming too. Huge hardy hang over killing breakfast of champions and fatsos like me.
The Gathering of the Vibes has been taking place in my backyard for a few years now. It's literally walking distance from my office on the shores of Long Island Sound. When Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead passed away in the summer of 1995, many fans were left with a void in their lives. The "Vibes" started out in 1996 as a memorial party for Jerry Garcia. Aptly named "Deadhead Heaven - A Gathering of the Tribe", the event provided a forum for music lovers to celebrate the life of the Grateful Dead frontman and reunite for a weekend of spiritual renewal. Some of the bands playing at the CFF this year will also be playing at the Vibes. It's an awesome line-up of talent. If folks are interested in coming let me know.
