Marcia Ball is one of our favorites and will be performing two shows.
This is an old clip, but it is a great song. Her vocals and piano playing are always out of this world.
We had our opening rally at Penn Wood this weekend and we test flew the Crawfish flag. It looks good waving next to the Stars And Stripes and the Eagles flag

Mine just came in on Thursday. Can't wait to fly it over the stream. It looks great & Thanks for the Ebay link!
Mine showed up really fast (in two days), considering that it came all the way from the left coast. Which reminds me...I have to leave positive feedback for the seller. Now I need to get a pirate flag, a Conch Republic flag, and a margaritaville flag.

A crawfish festival in Jersey? That's sort of like celebrating Mardi Gras in Wisconsin. No offense to anyone. Just didn't know anyone dared eat mudbugs that far north.

journalist, it is less than 12 hours drive. How about you come teach us how. Most attendees are yankees and some, like me, live in border states. How about you come on up and show us how it is done. Or you could just come and have a good time with us.
I just hosted a crawfish boil this past weekend in Austin. A smashing success. My cousin moved up to Connecticut and held his own boil for many years, he had the bugs flown in from Louisiana. There are ways to do it, even in yankee-land.
I wish I could make it, but it's a little too far for me.

Look at the musical line-up - Michael Arnone (who lives in the bayou) brings up local talent from his proverbial neighborhood in LA.
Michael's dad fly's up with the food from LA and does the cooking. Yes...as they have been doing for 20 years...they manage to create cajun country here in the rolling hills of NJ.

Ashley Tyler owns the French Market Booth. She brings in hard to find New Orleans staples. Look for the Community Coffee, Beignet Mix and other items that are must haves in your kitchen.
There is also Mrs Mistral Blue and her campfire guitar to add to the talent list....

I'd love to come up and check it out. If I can squeeze in some time off work, I'm there.

I'm thinking this is going to be the highlight of the summer..I'm really getting excited for this. My Eric Lindell CD that I purchased off Ebay just came in today. It's great stuff. Last week I had a nightmare that I was at the Crawfish and couldn't find my way to the stage. It was a maze of people and buildings that just wouldn't end......hope that preminition doesn't come true..or the predetermination of it (had to be there for that one)..lol.
