Nope just one of us is responsable at one time.

Gerr is only taking up one space - there was something funky with the rally sign up at the time.

Glad you guys are going to make it - I've enjoyed reading your blog about your trip, and want to hear more!

Marc,

Cascade locks is close by, its west of this location a few miles. Sorry about the lenght thing but 22ft is the limit on the website. But you could always tent camp. Or trailer camp close by and scout out the site to see if we could shoe horn you in.

Logistics

I spoke with Janet and we think we should have a theme. So to keep in line with the rally title,...... lets get small! So the theme is small. Small food, small lights, small party favors, and anything else you can think of.

Food:

Janet if you could bring you kitchen stuff that would be great.

I wanted to keep things relativley simple we could have a planned dinner and breakfast. Suggestions anyone?

I was thinking of a dinner made entirley from hors d'oeuvres and appetizer type foods (small) for saturday night and a typical cholesterol breakfast, bacon, eggs, oj etc. for Sunday AM. Friday we could do a burn you own beef or tofu night and everyone bring a pot luck dish thing. Thursday on your own night.

I will be arriving at the site on Thursday between noon and 2pm. There is a gate with a combo padlock that I will open. If anyone needs to be earlier PM me for the combo.

Power:

No electricity at this site. I am bringing my generator, its good for 2000 watts so anyone else with a small gen set may want to bring it for thier trailer or small appliances.

Water:

There are water spigots here and flush toilets. No showers so do what you gotta do.........

Firewood:

Bring some if you can, I am not sure of fire restriction but there are multiple rings outside as well as a large fireplace inside the shelter.

Tables/chairs:

Picnic tables are inside and outside the shelter.

So not long now, September 11th fast approaching.

We can pack cooking gear - no prob.

I'll volunteer to bring eggs and ham for all on Sunday. We could do a cook you own eggs thing. Anyone want to bring some carbs and juice?

As far as saturday dinner goes - I'll bring merlot and serve it in small glasses.

I will be arriving Friday afternoon. Hopefully around 3 - 4. Please keep me away from the fire..

Put me down for 2 pies for the potluck (Small ones...)

I can bring some Sunny D. for the Sunday AM festivities.
---

Mark - There is a KOA in Cascade locks. I have never been there. However, it would not be too far away... And yes its near the train too so you would not feel left out...

We'll bring some regular OJ too. We can bring potatoes for hash browns. Janet, where do you get those big cans of potatoes? We could get a couple cans and just chop them up like we've done before.

I get those at a place called United Grocers Cash & Carry. They carry a lot of restaurant type food and anyone can shop. It's a chain and I think there's one in vancouver. Those taters are CHEAP and if you look in your phone book for wholesale grocers, you should be able to find a place.

On edit - steph... Gary says we have canned potatoes already in the garage - lots. Don't buy any - but you are totally welcome to chop em up

Hello friends!

I hate to write this post, but Don and I won't be able to make it to the rally... we've got duties here at home that are taking both our time and money! We will be there in spirit, however, we love small trailers! Someone take lots of pics and post them so we can see how it went! The good news is we are both feeling pretty good for a couple of old folks!

Someone take a pic of the new baby!

Claudia
