On second thought, Blue Bell might be easier.

Steve, not Geek Squad!!!

How many mouths do we have? I can't make enough food to feed us all so we should have someone else bring a main dish.

Sams,

The sorbet/ice cream machine may be neat for the kids. We can pick up some bluebell, and then let them have fun making a batch of something as well.

Chris,

I hear you, but this is for our television, and not our computer. If it was for the computer, I would have you fix in San Marcos! Our Plasma Samsung 3D shot craps the other night, and Thursday was the earliest they could be here to look at it. I know they will only be able to order parts, but at least that gets it underway.

As for mouths to feed, there are a bunch. I have outlined below what I have estimated.

Soldiermedic- 1 adult 1 child
Westfalia- 2 adults 2 children
Sams-2 adults
JDH350-2 adults
KDS and Sister-3 adults 1 teenager

Pileus-1 adult*
Judybug-1-2 adults*
Cap-n-Red-2 adults
Rusty-Apache-1 adult*

This count makes 35. I think this number is low because we still have another attendee whom I don't know that is coming. We also have the attendees in (*) above that I don't know, and had to guess. We may get some visitors from other local streamers that may eat with us as well. I think we have a lot of food currently. You could get more bang/food for your buck and do a boston butt vs the ribs. I can also throw some $$ your way to help out. If you smoke it ahead of time, I can bring a chaffing pan with sterno fuel to reheat it in.

Dutch Oven is 16" & cobbler should be enough for all. Also think there will be a cheery dump cake, but don't remember who is bringing it. So deserts should be covered.

More food....

Tonight I grilled a pork tenderloin and a big mess of alitas picantes (Hot wings). Amy and I were so full from the tenderloin that we ate only 3 wings. I will toss them into a crock pot and bring them along for the potluck.

I am still not sure if there is going to be a trip to Lockhart. In the event that there is not, I am bringing a layered taco dip for Friday night. If there is a group that goes to Lockhart then I will bring it as another item to potluck on Saturday.

Any folk into mixed beverages? I have a bunch of bottles that I thought about bringing for people to partake in for evening campfires

Starting to look like you guys are going to have a ball. Skye and I cancelled pretty early on, and for a while I was worried that this happy event was not going to happen. Glad to see it is steadily growing instead of getting smaller.
We will be in Breckenridge Recreation Area on Lake Texana. Decided to opt for some quiet time all by ourselves..
Have fun all!!

Yep, we will be somewhere else, and just a couple days on our own before the kids show up.

Glad Bruce and Roseann changed their minds. I see they will bring the Argosy. Must be nice to have a dozen or so trailers to choose from..

Glad you and your sister will have some time together. I am happy to see more kids since they always seem to have a good time at rally events. I even got a call from Bruce that he and Roseanne may end up being able to make it. This rally ended up being a pretty good size of people. Unbeknownst to me until the other day, Collin is done with school this Wednesday. I am calling the park to see if I can have my spot on Thursday night, and will drive out after Geek Squad comes to my house if there it is open.

Steve
Steve, my Steve says you are the ultimate Renaissance man. He wants to know if you milk your own cows and grow your own watermelon.
My sister called today and unfortunately, she has to cancel. Bummer So Steve and I will arrive early Friday afternoon. Can't wait.

Sams, I can also pick up some Bluebell(homemade vanilla of course)!!!!

Kelly

Kelly,

Oddly enough, I did plant watermelon today along with cucumbers in the garden. Lots of vines in our future. No renaissance man here, but I like to know what goes into the ice cream I am making. I will still bring the churn...something may present an opportunity to make into dessert.
